Good afternoon,
I only waited on the Zoom line for 10 minutes. The 12:00 noon time prayer will stay as it is on Thursday’s. No changes there. “God is Sovereign.”
Listed below is the scripture for today.
There just is no word better, than the Word of God.
John 8:32 (AMPC)“And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.”
The “Truth“ is Jesus; if you believe. Meaning, believing on Him, the works he did and his divinity. Jesus made provision in his word to the disciples via the Lord’s Prayer, the parables, scriptures of the O.T.etc…
Believing is a choice. It is fundamental to how decisions and policy are made.
John 8:32, quoted out of the NIV says: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”” *Red Letter Version*
This word “know” signifies or indicates a relationship between the person “knowing” and the object known. So, it can be said that what is “known” is of value or importance to the one who knows “a”thing.
Leaders, define reality by what they choose to believe and accept as truth. May they be granted wisdom and courage to govern wisely in such times of turmoil and upheaval. And to be ever mindful seeking the presence of the Holy Spirit in all decisions concerning the people whom they represent. In Jesus name, Amen. 🙏🏾
