Psalm 149 (TPT): “Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! It’s time to sing to God a brand-new song so that all his holy people will hear how wonderful he is! May Israel be enthused with joy because of him, and may the sons of Zion pour out their joyful praises to their King. Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums! For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty, and he loves to give them victory. His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep. God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war! These warring weapons will bring vengeance on the nations and every resistant power— to bind kings with chains and rulers with iron shackles. Praise-filled warriors will enforce the judgment decreed against their enemies. This is the honor he gives to all his godly lovers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!”
You. LORD, are victorious! You are high above and triumphant no matter what we see, think, feel or experience!
Psalm 34: “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.”
We thank You that You hear us and save us out of all our troubles.
Intercession
We ask for the body of Christ to know and speak truth.
We declare that the body of Christ are people of peace.
We ask that everything our children are taught would bring them to the knowledge of God.
Isaiah 11:2: “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.”
Spirit of understanding be released into our children.
We release the knowledge of God’s love over our children.
We ask that each child will be filled with God’s glory.
We ask for revival among our children.
We thank You, LORD, that parents are picking up their responsibility to teach their children.
We welcome the King of Glory into all levels of Jeffco Schools.
Proverbs 6:16:18: “These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.”
We ask for the fear of the LORD to rest upon all in Jeffco Educational system.
We ask for cleansing of the lies that have been taught to our children.
We ask for the Holy Presence of the LORD to come into every meeting.
We ask for the unseating of demonic powers in our educational system.
Let righteousness and truth reign.
We ask for the LORD’s anointing to be upon those standing up for righteousness.
We ask for the favor of the LORD to be upon those standing up, causing others to follow them.
We declare there will be no violence over the expression of differing opinions.
We declare the US Constitution will stand for parents and citizens who express their opinions.
We declare opposing sides will listen to one another.
We release honor and grace to bear with one another.
We ask in faith without doubting for wisdom for our educational leaders according to James 3:13-18 (AMP): “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
We pray for Tracy Dorland that she will be supported and surrounded by Godly advisors, and that she will make righteous decisions.
We pray for Jeffco School Board members to have peace, wisdom and understanding.
We pray school leaders and staff will be slow to speak and quick to listen.
We decree, “Enough is enough!” from lying, deceit and fraud in Jesus’ name.
We declare Ephesians 4:25: “Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.”
We ask that the head of the snake operating in NEA be cut off.
We ask for NEA to be dismantled.
We ask for fortification and boldness for righteous teachers.
We ask that teachers will turn to the LORD.
We ask for our teachers to be protected from criminalization.
We ask for the socialistic agenda to fail.
We ask for Holy Spirit to be poured out over our teachers and school staff.
We ask for a revealing of truth in teachers’ unions.
We ask for workers to prepare, deliver and serve food to our children.
We ask for workers to provide transportation to and from school or our children.
We decree that the educational system in Jeffco is being brought to the altar of God.
We ask for the body of Christ to engage with the Jeffco educational system.
We thank You, LORD, for the purging of the ungodly from the education mountain.
We declare Zechariah 8:2-5: ““Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; With great fervor I am zealous for her.’ “Thus says the Lord: ‘I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, The Holy Mountain.’ “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age. The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.’”
We declare people in Jeffco love truth and peace.
Strengthen our hearts and our hands to do You will, LORD.
We pray for Colorado leadership to be visited by the LORD, giving godly wisdom for our children.
We say, “No!” to ungodly Marxist decisions that seek to influence our children.
EDUCATION PRAYER POINTS: (from CO Prays October 2021 Prayer Digest)
1. We pray for new godly men and women to take up Jeffco school district board seats in this next election according to the Lord’s will.
2. We pray for godly men and women to take up Colorado school staff and teaching positions according to the Lord’s will.
3. We pray that more Colorado families now raise up their children the way they ought to go. “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
4. We pray for revival and spiritual awakening in every Colorado school.
5. We pray that God would open children’s and teacher’s eyes and turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus.” Acts 26:18.
6. We pray that God would now open doors for His appointed ministries to impact Colorado children and schools for the sake of the gospel.
7. We pray for Colorado Christian teachers. “Therefore, (teachers in Colorado schools) must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.” Ephesians 4:25.
8. We pray that the next election cycle in Jeffco will be fair and the results be truthful.
9. We pray that God would assure safety for Colorado children, families, and school staff from all threats caused by Covid-19.
10. We declare Psalm 91 over every Christian student, teacher and staff member in Jeffco.
