Elections and Ballot Measures
Proverbs 16:33: The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.
Worship
You, LORD, are the Creator and Sustainer of all created things, seen and unseen.
Intercession
We ask for wisdom and revelation for what and who we vote for.
We ask that voters will take their responsibility to vote seriously.
We declare righteousness will reign.
We ask that voters will do their due diligence to research candidates and measures.
We declare the body of Christ will not shrink back because of fear, but will go forth in the strength of the LORD.
We declare the body of Christ to mature and disciple.
We bind the spirit of perversion infiltrating our children.
We declare a holy uprising is upon us that will bring forth righteousness and justice for all in Jeffco.
We ask for Holy Spirit to blow off the spirit of complacency.
We declare passionate fire for Jesus is being stirred up across Jeffco.
We repent for turning people away from Jesus.
We ask for healing angels to be sent forth for the hearts of those in Jeffco.
We ask for “Damascus road” experiences in Jeffco.
We ask for dreams and visions for those committing wickedness.
Undo us, LORD!!!
We ask for greater unity within the body of Christ.
We ask for eyes and hearts to be opened to Jesus.
We ask for reconciliation between Jews and Christians.
We ask for people to wake up, acknowledge what is going on, rise up and engage in spiritual warfare.
We bind up demonic manifestations.
We release the Spirit of Truth over all in Jeffco.
We declare John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
We declare Matthew 7:13: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”
We repent of teaching in the church that leaves out the truth of the word of God.
We ask for deliverance from the spirit of projection.
We ask for the body of Christ to mature into unoffendability.
We bind up hatred.
We declare Colossians 3:1-2: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”
We ask for a release of love, peace and comfort for hurting hearts.
Malachi 2:11: “Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god.”
We ask for forgiveness.
We declare the body of Christ will come apart and be separate from ungodly worldiness.
We declare the body of Christ will be obedient to Malachi 3:10: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
We release a spirit of reconciliation in relationships in Jeffco.
We ask for humble hearts that will reconcile with others.
We ask that spirit of murder will be removed from us.
Malachi 4:5-6: “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
We ask for the spirit of Elijah to come and turn the hearts of the fathers to their children.
We declare fathers will no longer want their babies aborted, but will want to love and take care of them.
We declare obedience to Ephesians 6:1: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
We are thankful for our children. We bless our children with the knowledge of the LORD. We declare that God’s plans and purposes for their lives will prevail. We declare that our children will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)
We declare fathers will humble themselves and ask for forgiveness from their children.
We call fathers back into the church to lead their families and the congregations.
We call women back to their rightful place as the LORD intended.
We plead the blood of Jesus over everything having to do with elections and ballot measures.
We ask for swift conviction and justice for those who think to do evil.
We declare blessings on each one in this prayer group, all their comings and goings and everything they set their hand to do. We declare the glory of the LORD goes before them and is their rear guard. They are hearing the LORD more clearly and seeing His perspective. We declare they are going from glory to glory and victory to victory in Jesus’ name and for His glory.
