Focus:

The sons and daughters of God will break out of old wineskins, be filled with the new wine of heaven and manifest in power and authority to all of creation as priests and kings of God. Rev 1:6, Is 60:1-7, Romans 8:10-24, 2 Cor 2:14

Worship

Ps 101: I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O Lord, I will sing praises.

I will behave wisely in a perfect way.

Oh, when will You come to me?

I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

I will set nothing wicked before my eyes;

I hate the work of those who fall away;

It shall not cling to me.

A perverse heart shall depart from me;

I will not know wickedness.

Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor,

Him I will destroy;

The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart,

Him I will not endure.

My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land,

That they may dwell with me;

He who walks in a perfect way,

He shall serve me.

He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house;

He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.

Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land,

That I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the Lord.

You reign, rule, have all power and dominion.

You are awesome in Who You are and what You do!

Ps 46:God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though its waters roar and be troubled,

Though the mountains shake with its swelling.

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,

The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;

God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;

He uttered His voice, the earth melted.The Lord of hosts is with us;

The God of Jacob is our refuge. Come, behold the works of the Lord,

Who has made desolations in the earth.

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;

He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;

He burns the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!

The Lord of hosts is with us;

The God of Jacob is our refuge.

You are the sovereign LORD over all the earth.

You will not be removed from the earth.

You are our strength and our present help in times of trouble.

We exalt You, LORD.

Ephesians 1:3:But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We are in You. You are in us.

You are the innocent, spotless Lamb Who bore our sins.

Intercession

Rev 1:6:To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

2 Cor 2:14: Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

We declare Is 60:1-7: Arise, shine;

For your light has come!

And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,

And deep darkness the people;

But the Lord will arise over you,

And His glory will be seen upon you.

The Gentiles shall come to your light,

And kings to the brightness of your rising.

“Lift up your eyes all around, and see:

They all gather together, they come to you;

Your sons shall come from afar,

And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

Then you shall see and become radiant,

And your heart shall swell with joy;

Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,

The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

The multitude of camels shall cover your land,

The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah;

All those from Sheba shall come;

They shall bring gold and incense,

And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord.

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you,

The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you;

They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar,

And I will glorify the house of My glory.

Help us die to sin and live unto righteousness.

LORD, help us live Rom 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.

We break off the old wineskins: what life is, spiritual numbness, sins of self hatred, rebellion, shame, old definitions of who we are, the veil of dullness, flesh, comfort that keeps us from spiritual disciplines, lack of love that keeps us from receiving God’s love, limitations of our cognition that wrestle with the new that keep us in grooves, disobedience, not being Your witness, unbelief from the former things, and grief from the ending of the old ways.

1 Peter 1:18: Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because

“All flesh is as grass,

And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.

The grass withers,

And its flower falls away,

But the word of the Lord endures forever.”

We release the Holy Spirit to blow and flow among us.

We bind the spirit of religion off the body of Christ that would try to detour or dam up the flow of the Holy Spirit.

Ps 84: How lovely is Your tabernacle,

O Lord of hosts!

My soul longs, yes, even faints

For the courts of the Lord;

My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home,

And the swallow a nest for herself,

Where she may lay her young—

Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,

My King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;

They will still be praising You.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,

Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

As they pass through the Valley of Baca,

They make it a spring;

The rain also covers it with pools.

They go from strength to strength;

Each one appears before God in Zion.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer;

Give ear, O God of Jacob!

O God, behold our shield,

And look upon the face of Your anointed.

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.

I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God

Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield;

The Lord will give grace and glory;

No good thing will He withhold

From those who walk uprightly.

O Lord of hosts,

Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

We will love our enemies.

We will answer their evil with good.

We open up the body of Christ to receive Your new wine that fills us with joy, we feel good about the new, we move forward to our inheritance

We decree Is 43:18-19: Do not remember the former things,

Nor consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing,

Now it shall spring forth;

Shall you not know it?

We choose to forget the former things and consider the things of old, according to Your word, LORD.

We welcome the new thing You are doing.

We receive Your revelation of what You want to show us now in Jesus’ name.

Obadiah 17-18: But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance,

And there shall be holiness;

The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

The house of Jacob shall be a fire,

And the house of Joseph a flame;

But the house of Esau shall be stubble;

They shall kindle them and devour them,

And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,”

For the Lord has spoken.

We will be filled with the fire of God.

We will not be like Esau who would sell his birthright for stew.

We will receive our inheritance and occupy it.

The world will know us by our love for one another.

Our hearts will be knit together.

We declare 1 Peter 2:16: For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men—as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

We declare 1 Peter 3:8-9: Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For

“He who would love life

And see good days,

Let him refrain his tongue from evil,

And his lips from speaking deceit.

Let him turn away from evil and do good;

Let him seek peace and pursue it.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,

And His ears are open to their prayers;

But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

We ask for and receive the new wine, LORD.

We declare that we’ve not been this way before and are in deep need of Your guidance.

We embrace the new way.

We humbly pray for crop failure by the blood of Jesus over all the bad seed planted in Jeffco.

We release expectant hope.

May we never forget and always praise for Your salvation.
