Let's stand with the prayer team for the city and county of Denver. With Denver, the question is: what happened?
When did this happen? How did this happen?
We are far beyond the point now of figuring out what needs to be done. The only option is to turn to The Almighty. We need His counsel to guide all those praying for this city.
Abba Father,
We lift up the prayer team for the city and county of Denver. Father, we need You to lead this team of intercessors. We ask that You show them strategically how to pray for this city. Then, we need them to show us how to pray for Denver, and how to have an impact on the city.
Father, lead this team to have influence on the Governor of the state, the mayor of the city, the town council and the State House and State Senate. Father, give this team insight, wisdom and revelation. Father, give this team access and favor with all areas of the city, county and state government.
Father, we also ask that You guard and protect this team in this endeavor. By Your grace, Father, lead them to help bring righteousness and sanity to the capital of Colorado. To You belongs the honor, glory and praise.
