Ignite Your Faith: How Much Is in You?

How Much Is in You?

The apostle Paul made a powerful statement in Romans 1:15: "So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel."

Can you relate to that kind of readiness?

I believe Paul's message wasn't just something he prepared for special occasions—it lived inside him constantly, always bubbling up and seeking an opportunity to get out. He didn't need to schedule formal preaching engagements to share the good news. Wherever Paul went, whatever he was doing, the gospel just naturally flowed out of him because he was so full of it.

Here's the exciting part: God wants us to be like that too!

You may not be called to preach from a pulpit, but if you are full of God like Paul was, you'll discover countless opportunities to share His love with people every single day. And it doesn't have to be complicated or scary.

A Simple Way to Start

Think about this: How many times a day does someone ask you, "How are you doing today?"

What if, instead of just saying "fine," you responded with genuine joy: "I'm fantastic—do you want to know why?"

That simple question opens the door. Whether you're at the cash register, the coffee shop, or the grocery store, people are curious. They want to know what makes you different. And in that moment, you have a beautiful opportunity to share your story.

You can tell them how God transformed your life—how He died on the cross to pay for your sins, gave you peace and purpose, reserved a home in heaven for you, and one day you are going to heaven to rejoice with all believers. Then simply ask, "Has God done something like that in your life?"

If they say no, you can gently ask, "Would you like Him to?"

You'd be amazed how many people are hungry for Jesus. I've seen it happen over and over—people are more open than we think. Some will want to pray right there with you. Others will just be encouraged by your joy and enthusiasm. Either way, you've planted a seed.

I know personal evangelism can feel intimidating. But here's the secret: When you're truly filled with the message of the gospel like Paul was, it becomes less about pushing yourself and more about sharing God’s love and what He has done in your life.

The gospel will burn inside you, looking for opportunities to encourage and bless others. And when that happens, life becomes an exciting adventure—the kind many Christians have never experienced because they've never stepped out in faith.

So let me encourage you today: Make up your mind to be filled with God's love and His message. Let it transform how you see every conversation, every interaction, every "How are you doing?" as a potential divine appointment.

You'll be amazed at what God does through a willing heart that's full of Him!
