A Mind-Boggling Love: Chosen Before the World Began

Have you ever stopped to consider the extraordinary depths of God's love for us?

Revelation 13:8 tells us something truly mind-boggling: God knew whose names would be written in the Lamb's book of life before the foundation of the world. Think about that for a moment. Before creating anything—before stars, mountains, oceans, or humanity itself—God knew we would fall into sin. He knew we would need a Redeemer. And He knew Christ would need to be slain to pay for our sins.

When we consider that our entire planet is just a tiny speck in the vastness of His universe, this truth becomes even more astounding.

God knew exactly how the story would unfold here on earth, yet He chose to move forward anyway. Why?

While Scripture doesn't give us a direct answer, this we know for sure: God desires fellowship with us—His flawed, broken creation—so intensely that He was willing to make the ultimate provision for our redemption.

From a human perspective, it seems incomprehensible and it seems God got the raw end of this deal. But here we are, recipients of His overwhelming grace and mercy.
