Angels on Assignment

Most people think of angels as being in heaven. But Hebrews 13:2 says we encounter them on earth and don't even realize it. God's Word tells us angels are ministering spirits sent to help those who are heirs of salvation. That means you and I, if we are born-again children of God.

In Jacob's dream at Bethel, he saw angels ascending and descending between heaven and earth. Notice the direction—ascending first. Angels are already down here for a purpose. When Jesus spoke to Nathaniel, He told him he would see angels ascending and descending upon the Son of Man (John 1:43-51).

The problem is most of us don't put them to work.

I heard about a vision of heaven where warehouses were full of body parts for people who needed healing down on earth. But the angels seldom made trips because those in need weren't sending them up to get what they needed. We've all heard testimonies of supernatural miracles. Seems somebody made a trip to the heavenly warehouse because somebody PRAYED and believed.

El Shaddai is the God who is more than enough for any situation we face. He has the answer even before we call.

That's a great reason to pray. We need to start taking the Bible seriously and tell others it's so!
