We opened our meeting inviting the Holy Spirt to join us today. Lord, show us Your plan for us today. We put on the full armor of God as we moved forward in prayer.
Karen read I Peter 4:7-10 NKJV “But the end of all things is at hand: therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Election
We had a discussion of voting options on the current ballot we received a few days ago for this Fall’s election. Of course, each one will make their own decision. See email forwarded prepared by Vi Probert as we discussed the issues. Thank you, Vi!
Lord, call up righteous leaders to get involved to change direction of Colorado. Bring in supporters and the resources for those willing to serve. Bring down unrighteous leaders and bring up Godly leaders in our state---we ask in Jesus’ Name!
Lord, we ask You to help the people of Colorado be discerning voters. Help all voters to pay attention seeking the candidates who know You, Lord.
Politics
Prayers for the Republican party in Colorado. Lord, be with Brita Horn, the chair, and the team around her. Lord, bring unity and strategies to the Republican Party. Read I Cor. 1:10. Lord, we know Your Word will not return void.
We thank You for leaders Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, and John Thune, the Senate Majority Leader. Lord, bring forth a flood of constituent calls to the opposition to the clean continuing resolution (CR) that has already been passed by the House of Representatives. There is time for more debate before the end of the year. We ask You would bring together the leaders of both parties and bring an end to the government shutdown.
We ask for an awakening to Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). A recent testimony came from a female reporter for 8 years in Seattle who came to realize the effect of TDS on her personally. Her testimony was powerful. Lord, we ask for an awakening for women and others affected by this syndrome.
Prayers for the new Colorado legislature. May they work now to cut expenses to stay within the budget. Thank you for the wisdom of previous lawmakers in our state. Lord, we ask this will be their last office holding for those not good for Colorado.
Protect Kids Colorado (PKC) Petition Campaign
Petition circulators are busy across Colorado. Lord, we ask for timely and accurately completed petitions by the end of December 2025. Thank you to several in our group for helping to get the petitions signed.
The End of Dominion Voting Systems
Dominion has been sold to Liberty Vote, owned by a former Republican voter integrity advocate. Liberty Vote assumes full ownership and operational control. Lord, be with this new owner directing transparency and accuracy. This sale gives us hope of change. We will be watching.
Natural Disaster
Prayers for the people affected by the Pagosa Springs and southern Colorado flooding. Lord, comfort them and bring the resources needed.
No More Kings Protest this weekend.
Lord, we ask You would create obstacles to the planned “No More Kings Protest” this weekend. May people be busy with other things to do. Bring a cold penetrating rain to stop the protest. Cut off the funds. Reveal the paid protesters. Reveal to the undercover FBI and CIA those hiding evil plans.
Revival
Lord, bring forth a mighty move of the young and old! God has used the assignation of Charlie Kirk to bring forth more interest and seeking of the Gospel. We all see it. The sale of Bibles is up! Praise the Lord! What the enemy meant for evil the Lord uses for good. May God’s people go forth with courage and not fear.
We believe God will rein in Colorado! God’s people standing in the gap. Lord, bring more warriors. Bring down demonic forces masquerading as light and bringing up Godly rulers in our state. May we scream out God’s truth. We ask for a great move of Your Holy Spirit! Amen.
