Discussion of gubernatorial candidates.
Barbara Kirkmeyer has also presented 10,000 signatures to get her name on the ballot for governor by petition (still pending verification). My reading states she is endorsed by The Denver Gazette editorial board.
Scott Bottoms: Well respected Pastor and conservative voice in the Colorado House for two terms. He readily answers any questions submitted to him. He had many loyal supporters at the state assembly. He is well respected for his fights for conservative values at the Colorado Capital. Sue and her husband, Dan, attended Scott’s Friday night reception. Very well attended and well done.
Victor Marx: Victor’s presentation video at the state assembly was well done and most of the 5 minutes given by all candidates. He did speak briefly. He had more supporters than any other candidate and half were under 30 years of age (this author’s opinion). Linda Martin said she is hearing and seeing men are really excited he is a candidate. Victor Marx’s daughter supports her dad. Linda Martin met his daughter at the Drip Café in Denver. Victor’s daughter had only good things to say about her dad.” The movie archive, “Plugged In,” has information that a movie about Victor Marx’s life is coming soon-to be announced (thank you, Vi, for this information).

Prayers
Colorado and Our Nation
We repent on behalf of our nation. We are nothing without You. Psalm 74:12 NKJV “For my God is my king from of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth.” Lord, bring forth humble hearts! We bind all deception of lying spirits! For us and our families ---we walk in Your will and Your ways. We ask for Your will for election of the leaders in our state.
There is a strong spirit of rebellion in Colorado. This is highlighted by the multitude of weird hairstyles and color and multiple tattoos prevalent. This is testimony of a person who moved to Colorado from a southern state. The types of legislation proposed at our State Capitol opposing the U.S. and Colorado constitutions also contribute to support of this rebellious spirit. Lord, we cry out asking You to replace the spirit of rebellion with a spirit of reverence for You!
There is a strong homosexual spirit over Colorado. There is an attack on the men. Father, we ask You and Your mighty angels for help. Help us to rid our state of this spirit in the next election, Lord. We ask for righteous men and women to be elected.
Republican Party. Lord, we ask for unity in the Republican Party. We bind up discord in Jesus’ Mighty Name! Lord, shine Your light on the disunity and bring forth solutions and strategies for the Party. We ask the members to stand behind the candidates to run the hard race.
We lift three of the GOP candidates. We ask Your hand to be upon them. All three in government. All three committed to Colorado. Give them courage and faith as they step out to campaign in Colorado. We lift them all before You. Lord, give them Your wisdom and discernment for strategies for their campaigns and for Colorado.
Lord, if there is a tangible reason Victor Marx should not run for governor of Colorado, we ask You would bring it to light quickly. Your will be done, Lord.
No Kings rallies continue in Colorado. Linda said Epstein signs are part of the protests. Lord, we bind the spirit of deception over them in Jesus’ Mighty Name! We claim Arvada and Jefferson County for You! Jesus is the King!
We pray for all county commissioners-especially Jefferson County Commissioners. We ask for conservative, righteous people to be elected to these vital positions in Colorado. Charlie Johnson ran last time for Jeffco county commissioner but lost. Now, Charlie is a patriot and registering young voters. May the citizens support the righteous candidates.
We continue to pray for President Trump and his cabinet. Thank You for directing him to knowledgeable people who can carry out his directives. Reveal to President Trump ideas to focus on setting a standard--not of himself- but for our nation as one nation under God. Help the people of our country to look to You, Lord, and not people or things as idols.
We ask for a turnaround in the media. May they be journalists and speak and write the truth. May they begin to report the effective outcomes Trump has accomplished.
Lord, help the Save Act to be passed!
We thank You, Lord, for the successful mission of Artemis II. This was a positive and unifying mission for our nation.
Children and Schools
The children of this nation are caught up in sexual perversion, trafficking, drugs, and the dumbing down of educational standards among other things. We ask You to call parents to “pay attention” to what their children are doing –especially on-line. May parents take their kids to church to train them in Your precepts.
We ask for more Godly teachers to speak out on matters of the Teacher’s Union. Give them boldness to protect and rescue children. We ask for restoration in our schools in Colorado to academic excellence.
Churches
Lord, bring more pastors and strong Christians into the political realm. They know Your Word and have the benefit of its wisdom.
Lord, speak to the people in the pews of the necessity to vote. Bring those in isolation out to vote and share their resources and their talents.
We declare and decree we are a Godly nation. Father, we ask for Your mercy for Colorado. We know we have sinned. Psalm 67:5-7 NKJV “Let the peoples praise You, Oh, God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then, the earth shall yield her increase; God our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.” We exalt You, Lord!
Amen.
