Special prayers today for our member, Karen Morgan, who is on her way to Jordan to help her son, David, and his family. Praise to the Lord for helping Nichole, David’s wife, continue to carry their little boy in her womb far beyond the time expected. Lord, thank You for the miracle!!!
Psalm 103:1-5 NKJV “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that Is within me, bless His Holy Name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Ø We pray for an awakening in other countries in the world. Lord, bring in righteous governments in those countries.
Ø For those who will be displaced from America, plant them where they will be surrounded with Your love.
Ø Lord, be with those who have been trafficked. Deliver them from the evil they are living. We ask You would comfort the parents who have lost a child. May their hearts seek and find You.
Ø We know You are a God of mercy. We ask for changed hearts in those who have done evil. If there is no repentance, Lord, we ask for Your justice.
Ø Lord, help us with our judgmental spirits. Shake us up! We ask You would break up the generational curses of racism and quick conclusions we make of others. Let us look to You first.
We ask for Your forgiveness for our actions, Lord. Show us Your way.
Education
Ø Jeffco Kids First (JFK), a parent-led advocacy group, has been instrumental in exposing problems within the Jeffco School District. Some of the issues were recently reported in a CBS Colorado’s investigative report by Shaun Boyd. In addition, the issues were also recently reported in The Rocky Mountain Voice. Lord, we ask that You continue to bring issues into the light that need to be revealed and changed in Jefferson County schools and in other Colorado schools.
Ø Prayers for homeschool families. Thank You, Lord, for their faithfulness to their children’s education and upbringing as they determine how to raise their children.
Ø Lord, we bring before You organizations who teach Your Word and Your ways to children such as the Wiz Kids. Lord, keep them all under the shadow of Your wings.
Ø During prayer, the Lord brought to us to pray for revival in the youth and universities. Three were highlighted although we prayed for all to receive the Lord’s spark of revival. The three universities are: Regis, Arapahoe Community College, and Auraria campus (houses several schools). Praise You, Lord, for what You are doing in the schools and with the young people in our state and nation! May Your presence increase in the schools!!!
Ø Lord, we ask the funds be plentiful for Your work in the schools.
Government
Ø Prayers for the Arvada City Council and their work for the citizens. Lord, may they continue to listen to the citizens of Arvada as they navigate the important issues in our city. We ask for Your wisdom for the council as they make decisions regarding the Community Table, the homeless in Arvada, and the sale of the property no longer to be used as a navigation center.
Ø Prayers for Jim Morgan as he has been faithful to follow the activities of the city of Arvada.
Ø Lord, we ask for Your solutions to help the businesses in Old Town Arvada be kept safe.
Lord, we ask You to anoint Your Body of Christ to go forth to accomplish Your mission for us! Enlarge our hearts! We are not holding back! Lord, bring together the churches in Arvada and in Colorado into unity under Your Son, Jesus Christ! Amen.
