Prayer Request: Life-Line Colorado

Please intercede for the staff and "clients" of Life-Line Colorado.

Director of Violence Interruption: Adrien Williams. 720-829-1515

I met Adrien and a Iron Sharp event where they were promoting their services to the community.

They work with youth to reduce violence on the streets of Denver and to assist youth with re-entry to society after jail time.

The staff is often traumatized by what they see and experience in working with the youth, Adrien and his brother Stevie asked for prayer for the staff specifically. That they would stay strong and committed to youth even as they themselves recover from the affects of witnessing death and youth violence..

If you are interested in supporting the further, they often go back to the scene of a death to pray and bring closure for themselves. They would welcome participation from strong believers who will walk with the staff through healing.

I should'vd posted earlier in October what our group did for our meeting. Instead of meeting for our usual prayer night; four of us from the Denver group went down to the Art Walk on Sante Fe Drive which happens on the first Friday of every month to support Jaime Sanchez and his business called "The Drip" coffee shop.

We stood on the side walk as one man read out loud the Word of God to the a small

group of LGBTQ activists who stood on the other side on the curb harassing Jaime's business. Two of us women went into intercession while the man read.

My husband spoke with them and confronted them the truth. The LGBTQ community has been trying to shut Jaime's business down because of a doctrinal

statement he made on his ministry's website stating that God designed man and woman for one another. Jaime launched the Drip Cafe to offer homeless people Biblical discipleship, skills and job opportunities needed to get off the streets.

We feel really good about what we did and sense something happened in the spirit. We hope others will join us to come out of the salt shaker and into the world

and be a light while supporting and standing with our persecuted brothers and sisters.

Hello Prayer Team. Just an update. There were five people that showed for prayer on this first Friday of August. After prayer, we did a prayer walk from the neighborhood then down East Colfax. It was lot's of fun! I (Lynn Newman) will be

calling each person who signed up for prayer for September's meeting, to remind or encourage you to join us next time if you can. I also called two first responders which was the Fire Dept. and the Chief of police. They were touched and said yes, please pray for us: The Fire Dept. asked prayer for "safety, resilience, and for mental strength" for our Police: "to be safe and well". Please remember them in your prayers, thankyou. Hope we will see more participation in our gathering.

Blessings!
