DougCo Civic Prayer Team Re-Birthed

You are invited to a select gathering of like-minded believers who are intent on developing a strategy for comprehensive, united, strategic prayer meant to shift the spiritual climate across all of Douglas County. Your hosts believe that Douglas County is a special place where many believers are already engaged in prayer. We believe that unifying these Prayer groups and networks across Douglas County will increase our Prayer “Muscle” through a MIGHTY “STRATEGIC” PRAYER MOVEMENT.
At this evening Garden Party, you will be asked to help brainstorm two things:
Ways to further enhance Douglas County’s fine reputation as.....THE PRAYING COUNTY of Colorado.
Ways to further elevate Douglas County’s fine reputation as............ THE COUNTY WHERE GOD ANSWERS PRAYER.
The goal of this gathering is to develop a strategy to build a unifying prayer network of existing prayer and civic groups that represent a strong, grassroots prayer movement covering our county in faith-filled prayer that changes things. The vision is to see a hub and spoke prayer network that works easily and smoothly with a central “Nerve Center” Hub that facilitates communications between Prayer groups throughout the county. All sorts of church and community-oriented prayer groups can connect to the HUB including Bible Studies, neighborhood prayer groups, and church prayer groups. Think of it as unity among Douglas County believers who pray...lifting up the issues in our county as ONE in prayer and being a spiritual “rear guard” to our city leaders. Let’s magnify our prayers by sharing them across prayer groups countywide.
YOUR HOSTS: This gathering is hosted by Amy Everette (Director of Colorado Prays) and Evelyn Zur (with a Douglas County Community & Civic prayer orientation). Together, we are believing for a powerful, united prayer presence throughout our county as various prayer groups and civic-minded teams purpose to engage together in a revitalized Douglas County Civic Prayer Team. Using a hub and spoke type of network that honors every existing prayer and civic group, we will multiply prayer coverage through the distributed network of powerful, transformational prayer.
As a Believer who understands the power of prayer, we need your participation. In John 17, Jesus asks that His people be One as He and the Father are One. This prayer network is meant to develop that spiritual unity to enhance the power of prayer countywide. As one, united in a network of prayer, we CAN SHIFT THE SPIRITUAL CLIMATE IN DOUGLAS COUNTY to better align with God’s will…..until we become known as “The Praying County – Where God answers prayers.”
Join us on August 7 at 7pm for dessert, brainstorming and prayer for the revitalized Douglas County Civic Prayer Hub.
It will be a Garden Party full of believers working together to come up with what is needed to put this idea to work so all of Douglas County wants to latch on to the “prayer movement” with enthusiasm. ...Yes, Lets make it happen. Let’s make it work. Together – as ONE.
