Elbert Civic Prayer Team

Thursday February 19, is our monthly Elbert County prayer call.  We meet by conference call at 7 am, We pray for the needs of Elbert County, for its officials and representatives, AS WELL AS for the schools, businesses and families.

We also pray for the needs of Colorado and our nation and world.

Please plan to join us for this 45 minute call, with others of like mind to pray for all of these needs.  Even if you don't live in Elbert County, please join and add prayers for your own county!

Mary Powell - THIS IS THE WEEK!  Related to my deposition in the ACLU book case against the Elizabeth School District, I  will so appreciate you all praying me through the following days:  Monday, 2/2 - DEPOSITION PREPARATION TIME with attorneys 9:30 to 1:30 ;  WEDNESDAY 2/4 prep time with attorneys 9:30 to 2:30;  AND ACTUAL DEPOSITION Thursday, 2/5 9:30 - 6:30 testifying to questions from opposing counsel.

Please pray that I am guided by Holy Spirit throughout the whole process;  for my peace and calmness throughout all responses;  for clarity of mind;  for truthful responses that show that as a district we made the decisions based on our desire to protect the minds and hearts of our students; and that I have the physical and mental stamina needed throughout.

Others will also have their depositions throughout the rest of February and into mid March - so please continue to keep…
