Prayer Requests
Please pray for two clients who have had negative pregnancy tests. They are really struggling with some heavy, complicated issues. Pray for the work of God in their lives.
Please pray for a client who is 36 weeks pregnant.She is thinking about placing her child for adoption, due to her circumstances, but it is not her desire.
Please pray for a client couple who received difficult news about a possible genetic abnormality with their unborn baby. They heard this information about 10 weeks into the pregnancy. They were likely choosing to terminate and may have already. Please pray for this couple and their baby who may have fallen victim to abortion.
Please pray for a client who has a collapsed lung which is currently preventing him from going forward in fatherhood mentoring.
Praise God for a client couple and their new baby. They had been considering abortion up to the very last minute but remained strong and their baby is now two months old.
Please pray for our A Promising Future team as they continue to update workshops to elicit more student engagement. Pray they would receive wisdom from the Lord for items and activities to include and those to leave out.
Praise the Lord that the A Promising Future team was invited to a baby shower for a student at one of our partner schools! Please pray that the mother and father would keep Christ at the center of their relationship and reach out if they need help or feel overwhelmed.
Praise God for our five new Community Engagement volunteers who finished their On-The-Job training this week. We are so thankful for their calling to partner with Alternatives.
Please pray for our upcoming fundraising events in September. Pray that as people hear about them, they will be excited about attending and participating.
Pray for wisdom for in hiring a Men’s Associate to work with our Legacy Men’s Services. Pray that the right person will come our way.
