Prayer Requests
Please pray for two couples who both decided to keep their late-term pregnancies despite many economic and relational challenges. Pray that the Lord would raise up loving communities around these two couples to walk alongside them, strengthen them, and support them as they enter into a new season of life.
Please pray for a woman who just found out she is pregnant, and though she feels happy and confident about being pregnant and her next steps for prenatal care, it is also stirring up difficult feelings from an abortion decision several years ago. She was able to share so openly, but she feels she has not had safe space to process the many feelings that she has about this decision. Please pray that she connects with our Director of Post Abortion Counseling for ongoing support and work towards healing.
Please pray for a woman who has been reluctantly convinced by the father of the baby to have an abortion due to financial stress and the fact that they have a 4-month-old. At her ultrasound appointment last week, she found out she is past the gestational age to take the abortion pill. Pray for a change of heart for her and the father of the baby as they process this new information and how it will affect their decision.
Please pray over the hiring process for the men’s client services associate. Pray the Lord would bring the right person to fill this important role.
Please pray for a young woman who had a positive pregnancy test at her STD testing appointment. This woman sought STD testing due to a sexual assault. She is struggling with the news and undecided what to do about the pregnancy.
Praise God for a great day at the Safe Summer Kick Off with Southwest Denver Coalition. We were able to provide information and diapers to many people throughout the day.
Praise God for our ribbon cutting celebration at our new clinic in Arvada. We are so grateful for the donors and community leaders who came out to support us and take a tour.
Please pray that as more and more people hear out about the Gala & Golf fundraising event in September, that they will be inspired to participate and support Alternatives!
Pray for the Lord’s daily bread during this slower season of giving in the summer. Pray that we will continue to receive financial gifts as well as donations to our mom & baby gift closet.
