Prayer Requests
Please pray for a couple who were considering abortion at their pregnancy test appointment but then decided to parent. Sadly, at the follow-up ultrasound appointment, they found out that she is miscarrying. This couple is experiencing some strong and varied emotions. May they be comforted by the Lord and experience the Lord in this difficult time.
Please pray for our Director of Client Services at our Aurora location as she steps into her role full time.Pray for confidence, wisdom and a smooth transition as she begins serving clients.
Please pray for a 19-year-old couple who are expecting a baby and have chosen to continue with the pregnancy. Please pray that God would give them strength, wisdom, and support as they prepare to become parents.
Please pray for the Lord to continue giving us strength and wisdom to serve others with much love and compassion.
Please pray for community partners launching summer classes of The Diamond Standard. Pray that students will feel hopeful and encouraged because they are building healthier relational skills.
Praise the Lord for the turnout for A Promising Future’s workshop, Engineering Love. Praise him for the nine young adults who attended and are excited to use their new skills to pursue healthier relationships.
Summer orientations for the volunteer program start next week! Please pray for those who are called to this work as they go through the volunteer process.
Please pray that people would be excited about the Fall Gala & Golf fundraising events.
Please pray that the Lord will bring the right people to Alternatives to fill open positions. We are especially praying for someone to fill the Men’s Services position.
Praise God we have a new team member starting this week as College Engagement and Social Media Manager. Pray that the Lord will bless her efforts, help her transition to Colorado be a joy, and that through her work, she will make an impact in this culture.
Please continue to pray for the Board of Alternatives. May the Lord continue to provide wisdom and discernment for the ministry.
