Jeffco Civic Prayer Team

Public·24 Participants

CO Prays Jeffco Team,

“Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare, you will have welfare (Jeremiah 29:7).”  This is why we pray.  God has called us to fight where we are for the good of His people.  Although these prayer sieges take time, faith, and endurance, they will reap a harvest as God works out His plan through the prayers of the saints.  We must not grow weary and give up.

Last night, Wednesday, July 24, we met to intercede for our county, state, and the nation.  We covered most of spheres of influence:

We covered first responders and prayed for their protection particularly the ones who 20 years ago were at 9/11.  We also declared protection and courage over them and their families so they could do their job effectively.

We interceded on behalf of the families in Jeffco and the children who are close to starting school.  There were prayers and declarations for the leadership in those schools to have times of refreshing before going back and that they would make wise decisions with what to enforce at their schools.  Along those same lines we fought in prayer for the children and others who are subject to trafficking.  We declared that they would be found and returned to their families.  We spoke protection over babies and children and prayed that our state would choose life.

We interceded on behalf of the the government leaders locally, statewide, and nationally.  As we did this we renounced the plans of the wicked and called for repentance for those with evil schemes and plans that they would be realigned with God’s plans.  I also want to continue to speak protection over our election process coming in November along with all candidates local, statewide, and nationally.  I declare that we the people will understand the importance of voting.

Thank you to Carrie and Kendall for praying with us last night.  I look forward to next month.  There is so much happening and we need to be extra vigilant in prayer.  If I forgot anything we prayed about please let me know.

Please feel free to ask us any questions or reach out with anything Holy Spirit brings to the surface about what we can be praying and believing for this month.

Our next in person meeting will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 630-730pm at our place 9569 W Coal Mine Ave Apt A Littleton, CO 80123.
