Updated prayer requests and results that I received today Jefferson County Jail Requests:

Jose Baeza has arrived at Coleman Prison in Florida. His prison ID# is 32153-510. Chaplain Quinn is encouraging believers to look up Coleman on the web and get instructions on how to write to Jose as he is going to need the support, and letters from other believers can be the thing that holds him up especially in these first initial days before he finds other believers there. Continue to pray for Jose’s safety and for him to quickly connect with other believers.  read previous post for background

Pray for Chaplain Quinn as he tore his rotator cuff and will need surgery. He will be in a sling for 6 weeks. Because of his compromised status, he will not be allowed any inmate contact. Pray for God to show him how to use this time. He’s thinking about writing a study on discipleship habits for new inmate believers.   

Praise God – The jail’s Celebrate Recovery/Bible study had 20 guys attend, and several of them had never been before! Six men trusted Christ as their Savior including a former Muslim and a satanist, and eight men were baptized! During the baptism, three of the inmates participated by praying for each of the men as they were baptized. It was evident that the Holy Spirit had been at work in their lives to bring them to this point. God continues to work and prepare hearts! Please pray for these men as they begin their new relationship with Christ.
