Jeffco Civic Prayer Team

“Finally, be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers, against rulers, against the rulers of this dark age, against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places.  Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that we will be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand (Ephesians 6:10-13).”

First of all, we declare that we fight from a place of victory and the battle is the LORD’s.  We enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.

We bind up the spirit of fear and loose the spirit of hope and faith over the people of Colorado.  We will have the right leadership in our state who stand for truth, righteousness, and justice.  We will live in peace and security.  Children and babies will be protected.  You give us your peace and we will not fear.  You have given us a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind.

Children in Colorado are protected in the name of Jesus.  We will elect leaders and support initiatives that do this.  Those who have abused and passed laws doing evil to children are losing their power in the name of Jesus.  We pray for their repentance and declare they cannot hold a leadership position in our state.

During this time in our state, draw people to you.  We declare that the presence of God will fill every part of our city as a love for the truth is revived.  His truth sets us free and helps us see clearly.  For you are not a God of confusion but of peace.  We desire more of you.  Let people see our love for you and be drawn toward the truth of the gospel.

Awaken people especially but not limited to the body of Christ across our state to the importance of voting.  Awaken people to common sense.  Make it common again.

We declare election integrity and bind up every attempt of the enemy to mess with the results.  We will have a miraculous midterm in our state that is too big to rig.  Confuse those who are being controlled by the enemy as you did at the tower of babel.

Bless pastors and church leaders who encourage their congregations according to the truths in the Bible where it pertains to civic engagement.  We are stewards of what He has entrusted to us. Let churches be known for how they pray and act according to what He tells them to do.  Give them fresh boldness and courage.

You are the Great Physician and you know our bodies.  Those who need healing are healed by his stripes.  They operate in that healing and will function according to His purpose for them.  You will restore to them the years the locust and cankerworm have taken.

We speak blessing over the future generations and the effort to restore education in America.  Whether children attend public, private, charter, or home school programs they will learn what is true, good, and beautiful.  They will be encouraged to think as future leaders in our state and our nation.

Restore marriages and the family unit.  Let home be a safe place especially for children.  Encourage fathers to step up and bring godly men into fatherless homes.  Increase testicular fortitude in men so that they will step and take their rightful place as leaders in the home.

Protect all the candidates and their volunteers especially those fighting for truth, righteousness and justice.  Surround them with your heavenly hosts of angels.  We declare and usher in the victory for them.  Hallelujah.

Thank you that we are seated with you in heavenly places.  The devil is under our feet.  We are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, going over and not under!  What we speak matters, so let us speak life and stand in faith.  We will see the salvation of the Lord and the goodness of our God in the land of the living!!!  Amen and Amen!!!  So be it LORD!!!

We had an amazing night of targeted prayer and hope you can join us next time.  This will be Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 6:30-7:30pm at our place 9569 W Coal Mine Ave Apt A Littleton, CO 80123.

Thank you and God Bless,

Mary and Jeremy Hoesly
