Focus:
Families and children
We pray that every marriage and family unit would be saturated with the love of God, fulfilling Ephesians 5:33: “Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”
We pray that every child would know the love of Jesus and find their worth and purpose in Him.
Intercession
Lord, we thank You family was Your idea.
You, Lord, set the lonely in family both spiritually and physically.
We ask that people will find out what God’s idea of family is like.
We thank You, Lord, that You are in the future bloodlines of families in Jeffco.
We ask for grace to receive restored family relationships.
We ask for grace, “undeserved kindness”, to be received by every family.
We send forth into Jeffco Psalm 94:17-19 (AMP): If the Lord had not been my help, I would soon have dwelt in [the land of] silence. If I say, “My foot has slipped,” Your compassion and lovingkindness, O Lord, will hold me up.
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comforts delight me.
We call for the raising up of children into new life to walk in freedom in the Spirit.
Ephesians 3:14-15: “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,”
We celebrate the difference between men and women.
We ask for restoration of unity and humility in marriages.
We ask for the bitter roots of sin to be uprooted in marriages and families.
We ask for communication in families to be prioritized above all other communications.
We ask for face-to-face communications with God, our spouses and children.
We ask for all resistance to face-to-face encounters with God and those in our families to be removed.
We ask for innocence to be restored for all people as each one encounters Jesus.
We ask for restoration of our children’s hearts with Abba.
We ask for restoration of our first love, Jesus.
We ask for the redigging of wells of deep relationship with Jesus.
We pray for all distractions to be removed now in Jesus’ Name.
Matthew 16:19: “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
We ask for cleansing from all that is not of Jesus so that we will walk in purity and power.
Hebrews 13:13-15: “Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
We ask, “Lord, send laborers out of the city.”
We ask for the raising up of spiritual fathers and mothers for the children of God.
We ask for the young spiritual children to be guided to those who have been prepared to disciple them.
We ask for the truth of hope, glory and the song of heaven to be released into Jeffco.
Judges 5: “Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying: “When leaders lead in Israel,
When the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the Lord! “Hear, O kings! Give ear, O princes! I, even I, will sing to the Lord; I will sing praise to the Lord God of Israel. “Lord, when You went out from Seir, when You marched from the field of Edom, the earth trembled and the heavens poured, the clouds also poured water; The mountains gushed before the Lord, this Sinai, before the Lord God of Israel. “In the days of Shamgar, son of Anath, In the days of Jael, the highways were deserted, and the travelers walked along the byways. Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, arose a mother in Israel. They chose new gods; Then there was war in the gates; Not a shield or spear was seen among forty thousand in Israel. My heart is with the rulers of Israel Who offered themselves willingly with the people. Bless the Lord! “Speak, you who ride on white donkeys,
Who sit in judges’ attire, and who walk along the road. Far from the noise of the archers, among the watering places, There they shall recount the righteous acts of the Lord, The righteous acts for His villagers in Israel;
Then the people of the Lord shall go down to the gates. “Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, sing a song!
Arise, Barak, and lead your captives away, O son of Abinoam! “Then the survivors came down, the people against the nobles; The Lord came down for me against the mighty. From Ephraim were those whose roots were in Amalek. After you, Benjamin, with your peoples, from Machir rulers came down, and from Zebulun those who bear the recruiter’s staff. And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; As Issachar, so was Barak sent into the valley under his command; Among the divisions of Reuben there were great resolves of heart. Why did you sit among the sheepfolds, to hear the pipings for the flocks? The divisions of Reuben have great searchings of heart.
Gilead stayed beyond the Jordan, and why did Dan remain on ships? Asher continued at the seashore,
And stayed by his inlets. Zebulun is a people who jeopardized their lives to the point of death,
Naphtali also, on the heights of the battlefield. “The kings came and fought, then the kings of Canaan fought In Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; They took no spoils of silver. They fought from the heavens; The stars from their courses fought against Sisera. The torrent of Kishon swept them away, that ancient torrent, the torrent of Kishon. O my soul, march on in strength! Then the horses’ hooves pounded, the galloping, galloping of his steeds. ‘Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the Lord, ‘Curse its inhabitants bitterly, because they did not come to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord against the mighty.’ “Most blessed among women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; Blessed is she among women in tents. He asked for water, she gave milk; She brought out cream in a lordly bowl. She stretched her hand to the tent peg, Her right hand to the workmen’s hammer;
she pounded Sisera, she pierced his head, she split and struck through his temple. At her feet he sank, he fell, he lay still; At her feet he sank, he fell; Where he sank, there he fell dead. “The mother of Sisera looked through the window, and cried out through the lattice, ‘Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why tarries the clatter of his chariots?’ Her wisest ladies answered her, Yes, she answered herself, ‘Are they not finding and dividing the spoil:
To every man a girl or two; For Sisera, plunder of dyed garments, plunder of garments embroidered and dyed,
Two pieces of dyed embroidery for the neck of the looter?’ “Thus let all Your enemies perish, O Lord! But let those who love Him be like the sun when it comes out in full strength.” So the land had rest for forty years.
We ask for the return of the trafficked to mothers and fathers who will nurture and bring healing to them.
We ask for orphans to be protected and returned to Abba.
We ask for the unborn to receive justice.
We ask for hardness of hearts to be softened towards the unborn.
We bind the orphan spirit.
We ask for the spirit of adoption to manifest in Jeffco.
We ask for the scattered to be brought into the sheepfold of Jesus.
We declare laborers are partnering with heaven to bring in the sheep.
We declare hearts are filled with hope, joy and love.
We declare we see the victory in Christ.
We declare those in Jeffco have minds aligned with Christ.
We declare there is grace to listen lovingly to others.
We ask for heavenly perspective for all those in Jeffco.
Psalm 81: “Sing aloud to God our strength; Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob. Raise a song and strike the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the lute. Blow the trumpet at the time of the New Moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast day. For this is a statute for Israel, a law of the God of Jacob. This He established in Joseph as a testimony, when He went throughout the land of Egypt, where I heard a language I did not understand. “I removed his shoulder from the burden; His hands were freed from the baskets. You called in trouble, and I delivered you;
I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah “Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you! O Israel, if you will listen to Me! There shall be no foreign god among you; Nor shall you worship any foreign god. I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. “But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels. “Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries. The haters of the Lord would pretend submission to Him, but their fate would endure forever. He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat; and with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you.”
We declare freedom to the captives.
We declare that Deborahs are activated in Jeffco.
We declare that all in Jeffco recognize the ways of men are a snare and are a failure.
We declare nothing is off limits to our Lord.
Psalm 139:7-10: “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning,
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.”
Let us be a people that know the value of the cross of Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for Hebrews 9:11-15: “But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.”
Psalm 22: “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
Why are You so far from helping Me,
And from the words of My groaning?
My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear;
And in the night season, and am not silent.
But You are holy,
Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
Our fathers trusted in You;
They trusted, and You delivered them.
They cried to You, and were delivered;
They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.
But I am a worm, and no man;
A reproach of men, and despised by the people.
All those who see Me ridicule Me;
They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
“He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him;
Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”
But You are He who took Me out of the womb;
You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts.
I was cast upon You from birth.
From My mother’s womb
You have been My God.
Be not far from Me,
For trouble is near;
For there is none to help.
Many bulls have surrounded Me;
Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me.
They gape at Me with their mouths,
Like a raging and roaring lion.
I am poured out like water,
And all My bones are out of joint;
My heart is like wax;
It has melted within Me.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd,
And My tongue clings to My jaws;
You have brought Me to the dust of death.
For dogs have surrounded Me;
The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me.
They pierced My hands and My feet;
I can count all My bones.
They look and stare at Me.
They divide My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.
But You, O Lord, do not be far from Me;
O My Strength, hasten to help Me!
Deliver Me from the sword,
My precious life from the power of the dog.
Save Me from the lion’s mouth
And from the horns of the wild oxen!
You have answered Me.
I will declare Your name to My brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.
You who fear the Lord, praise Him!
All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him,
And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!
For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
Nor has He hidden His face from Him;
But when He cried to Him, He heard.
My praise shall be of You in the great assembly;
I will pay My vows before those who fear Him.
The poor shall eat and be satisfied;
Those who seek Him will praise the Lord.
Let your heart live forever!
All the ends of the world
Shall remember and turn to the Lord,
And all the families of the nations
Shall worship before You.
For the kingdom is the Lord’s,
And He rules over the nations.
All the prosperous of the earth
Shall eat and worship;
All those who go down to the dust
Shall bow before Him,
Even he who cannot keep himself alive.
A posterity shall serve Him.
It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation,
They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born,
That He has done this.”
We ask for greater revelation of Jesus so that we can share Him accurately with others.
Ephesians 3:14-19: “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
We prophesy to Jeffco: “God is there, Jehovah Shammah!”
Revelation 4:8: ““Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”
Revelation 5:12: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
We ask all in Jeffco will behold the beauty of Jesus.
Acts 17:28: “for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’”
We are undone by Your love, Lord! Wreck us and our families with Your wrecking ball, Lord!
