Financial Drain on our state for prisoners…
The numbers are revealing! 350 out of 2043. A higher percentage when you consider others who service the prison! 2000 population plus up to 960 prisoners. That’s a demand on a community!
Isaiah 60:18. (Dutch quoted past 2 days). “Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation, or desertion within your Borders!, but you will call your Walls “Salvation” and your Gates “Praise”!
Healing Wings has personally ministered in Limon Prison back when Warden Angel was there, who was a believer. It was an evangelism yard event. Right after this the Territory Prison in Canon City was shut down. Many of these prisoners who only had 1 hr a day outside their cell (extreme crimes) were then transferred to Limon & other prisons throughout the state that could house this level of security.
