Limon, although not the geographical eastern gate, is still considered the eastern gate BECAUSE it’s the hub city.
Limon was the 1st place established coming from the east in 1930. It was named after John Limon (or Lymon), the railroad supervisor assigned in the region. Melanie said he was a real estate developer and dishonest. The town should have been named after its founder, William Pershing, who was the 1st mayor and developed and established Limon. Instead of Limon being named after Pershing, the local cemetery (still owned by the town to this day) is named the Pershing Cemetery. The 1940 census shows 19 Pershings still living in Limon... I have yet to find any information on the man named John Limon. It's almost like an "identity theft" from the very beginning.
I believe Limon represents the spiritual eastern gate- that's why so much witchcraft, and transmitting wickedness happens from this "hub." By the way... the local high school in Limon: Badger High School. Their motto is: "black magic - white lightning"
I also think there are physical/geographical gates listed out by Jan and Judy (i.e. entry points) that are significant. All need to be addressed, but may require different strategies.
