During a trip to the Colorado Capitol last Wednesday, the Lord blessed me with new insight. It was a reminder you might say. Two other intercessors and I went to Governor Polis’ office to pray for him. When outside of his office, we saw a dark blue couch (empty) inside. One lady with us walked right in and-the other woman and I followed her in. She asked the receptionist, a pretty young lady, if we could sit, not talk, and quietly pray. She said yes.
As we prayed, the Holy Spirit took me down a road of His deep love and mercy for Governor Polis. Even today I am overwhelmed. Psalm 103:8 “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in compassion and lovingkindness.” Oh, Lord, thank You for the reminder. You desire ALL to be saved through the work of Your Son, Jesus, on the cross. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
