I hope each of you are praying for Colorado today!
Our state will be nearly 150 years old tomorrow: Colorado Day.
Yet, as I’m writing this I am hearing a concert of helicopters and planes flying close overhead with their loads of water, fire retardants and fresh fuel for the fires burning so close by! Some ash is drifting down and toxic smoke fills the air.
Are we contending and commanding God’s Mercy Rains? I was encouraged this morning to hear that the 2 fires in Northern Colorado had NOT enlarged overnight! I was flooded with hope and faith. The Ecclesia prayers matter! Press heaven for deliverance and relief!
I just heard the Spirit remind me: We are anticipating and working toward seeing Another Kind of Smoke filling our Tabernacle State! The Smoke of His Presence, His Shekinah!
2 Chronicles 7:1-3. When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the [Shekinah] glory and brilliance of the Lord filled the house. 2The priests could not enter the house of the Lord because the glory and brilliance of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house. 3When all the people of Israel saw how the fire came down and saw the glory and brilliance of the Lord upon the house, they bowed down on the stone pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, “For He is good, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.”

Yes and Amen!
