Eastern Gate assignment
I have been seeking the Lord about if there is any land assignment/decrees that hasn't been done (that I know of). I heard Santa Fe which led me to look at the old Santa Fe trail. That part of Colorado was under Mexican ownership at that time in 1821 and entered through Raton Pass, the southern border of Colorado and went through Trinidad, La Junta, Lamar and exited Colorado on Hwy 50 near Holly in the Eastern border. It also crossed the Commanche Grasslands which I have been praying about. Just putting this out for thoughts

I just got done reading Debbie's new post and I love it. I do have a couple thoughts that I want to put out there, regarding a couple waterways prior to a Limon worship gathering. The Arikaree reiver and the Purgatoire river. basins.
The Santa Fe trail enters Colorado over the Raton Pass, Then it follows the Purgatoire river, (into the Commanche grasslands) which the name literally means "the river of lost souls" Also it is the lowest place in the southern half of the eastern gate. It then goes into Trinidad, and leaves the state near Holly.
The Arikaree had one of the largest Indian battles on Sept. 17, 1868 on the Arikaree fork of the Republican river on Beecher Island. I saw a book about this battle that was written about by Masons in Wray Co.. I learned that Adams county was almost named Arikaree county, and that there is an Arikaree glacier that feeds into the North Boulder Creek. The Ariikaree has the lowest spot in the northern part of the Eastern gate
Also, when looking at old newspapers, I saw articles by people who lived in Wray talking about gatherings for people who had been in the Masons for over 50 years. But when I looked up where, the lodge was in Longmont, which is kind of near Boulder.
One thing that both areas also have in common is a lot of Colorado Natiive American tribes. The grasslands were traditional Comanche tribal area, and it was a Cheyenne Chief, Roman Nose that led the battle in Arikaree..
