KSN- A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT!
In Ezra 1:5 and 18 years later in Haggai 1:14, the Lord “stirred up the spirit” of the leaders and the people to build HIS house.
To stir up means: to awaken, rouse, excite and arouse to action. It also means to open up one’s eyes.
When God gives His assignment, we can expect Him to stir us up to accomplish each and every task to complete it!
It is our daily portion!
Is. 50:4~“The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens (stirs me up) Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.”
We can also stir ourselves up!
Is. 64:7 implies this when the prophet says, “There is no one who calls on Your name; Who stirs himself up to take hold of You…”
I believe it’s imperative to stay awake and aroused to action in the spiritual climates we’re facing. We need to do whatever it takes to keep our spirits supercharged!
It’s time to build His house!
