Welcome to the Firestone Civic Prayer Team. God is on the move! All over the world the church is growing in the most unlikely places. Dreams and visions sparked the harvest in Iran and Jesus has witnesses in North Korea of all places. There is no place dark enough that the light of Christ cannot penetrate. Our country is no different. We continually see a hunger in this generation for spiritual things even as the darkness seems to be increasing in our own communities.
This is where the Civic Prayer Teams come into play. Just like the 120 spent 5 months in prayer and fasting until the Holy Spirit baptized them, we who keep the Lord in remembrance will take no rest and give Him no rest until He makes Jerusalem a praise in all the earth (Isaiah 62:6-7).
We are praying for our communities to see the beauty of Christ. Join us in the "upper room" for prayer and communion and let's see what God is going to do next.
