Isaiah 59:19 NKJV “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. “
We praise and worship the Lord. Holy Spirit, we invite You to join us today. May we hear Your voice on how You would have us pray. We lay our petitions before You. Show us a strategy of victory over evil. Strengthen us with our mighty fortress, Jesus! We put on the full armor of God as we pray.
We prayed for election integrity in our nation. We prayed for the SAVE Act to be passed by the Senate. The House of Representatives has already passed the SAVE Act.
Prayers for Tina Peters. Lord, keep her healthy. Give her Your strength. Lord, cause her to be released we ask in Jesus’ Name!
We ask You would bless Colorado with a Godly leader(s). We ask for a great move of Your Spirit. We repent with humble hearts. Lord, cleanse our state. Lord, give those with humble hearts the courage to get behind those who will make a difference. We ask for common sense to return to decision making. We ask for special discernment for Your people.
There is a very ugly report on the internet about Victor Marx, a Christian man running to be Colorado Governor. In reading the report in greater detail, I, Donna, saw there was a reference to The Intercept authoring the report. Researching this organization, it is a far-left organization. We agreed we will be researching the candidates running for governor.
We prayed for the conservative legislators at the Colorado Capitol; among them, Brandi Bradley, Scott Bright, Stephanie Luck, and Dusty Johnson. Lord, we ask for Your favor for all the conservative politicians in Colorado for each office. Lord, open the eyes and ears of progressives to hear Your voice. We pray for new alignments with those legislators who know You influencing those legislators who do not know You.
Lord, bring unity into the Republican Party under conservative values. We ask for righteous leaders. The Jefferson County Republican Party Caucus for all the house districts is Saturday, March 7th, and the county assembly is March 21st, both to be held at Wheatridge High School. The state assembly is in Pueblo again on April 11th.
We prayed into the proposed bill, SB26-097. This bill, introduced in the Colorado Senate and assigned to the Judiciary Committee on February 11. If passed, the bill would decriminalize commercial sexual activity among consenting adults and repeal certain state criminal offenses related to prostitution. Lord, reveal who is behind this bill. We declare there will be a move of the fire of God. Burn it up!
We bind up the theft proposed by this Colorado legislature. They are trying to change favorable Federal tax laws for Colorado citizens so the tax collections from Coloradans will be greater. For example, the “no taxes on tips” federally would be taxable to Colorado citizens. Lord, we ask Tabor will be kept whole. Expose the robbery being proposed. May the people of Colorado rise up! We bind up the spirit of fraud and robbery. Expose it! Judge it! Lord, we ask for justice!
Sue gave a report from the Arvada City Council. There was a presentation regarding the 72nd street bond proposing a railroad underpass. The price of the original bond in 2018 was much lower than the current projected cost. There was an approval delay from the railroad. Consequently, the railroad underpass has been cancelled and there will be more discussion on what to do with the bond money. Discussion included paying back the bond or finishing the work on 72nd with a 4-lane road. In addition, the Arvada City Council delayed the vote to change the public comment rules.
We decree a hedge of protection around every Colorado First Responder and their family to shield them from all the darts of the enemy, and we pray that You bring people to love, comfort, and support them so they know they are not alone. We ask if there will be cooperation between Colorado law enforcement and ICE to make the streets of Colorado safer.
Prayers for the Protect Kids Colorado ballot initiatives. We understand ballot measure 108 - “protecting children from sex trafficking” has been approved. Lord, we ask the Secretary of State review of the signatures will be approved for measures 109 and 110 and be placed on the ballot for the Colorado voters. Lord, bless the churches who participated in the signature process.
Lord, thank You for Charlie Johnson who is helping to get young people registered to vote. Bring Charlie favor, Lord, as he does this good work. Bless him. Lord, be with organizations such as Turning Point USA and others. Be with Nick Shirley as he is exposing fraud. Thank You, Lord, for men such as the strong Republican congressman, Brandon Gill, a Texas congressman, asking good questions in hearings in the House of Representatives.
Lord, we ask for Your Standard to get behind righteous leaders. Bring back honor and valor. Bring down those who have taken unauthorized money. Bring those performing evil deeds to the saving grace of Jesus Christ or get them out of elected office. Raise up more warriors for You! Send people to pray over them. May we feel the vibration of the Lord---powerful and mighty! May eyes be opened to see Your Truth! We ask for a mighty revival in our nation! May we return to be a Christian nation! Amen.
