Thank you for those who joined the CTC Prayer Leader zoom meeting on Wednesday. The following is a brief summary.
1 Pastor Ramona and Pastor Carla have both decided to step down from leading Cover The County as of Dec 31, 2020. We are very appreciative of the time they invested in building the infrastructure to support the implementation and growth of Cover The County.
2 We are praying for additional leadership to come alongside Amy, Phil & Yolanda to help lead Cover The County statewide.
3 Karen shared the connection she now has with Reg Cox. Pastor Reg has started several entities in Jefferson County that have brought unity between THE Church, education, government and the marketplace across the county. Karen is now plugged into several zoom meetings and a pastor prayer meetings that are providing her team with good information about how to pray for the county. Be on the lookout for pastor alliances and any groups that connect the faith community with government and education in your county.
4. Amy encouraged everyone to begin to make contacts with pastors and county/city leaders as you are able. Consider connecting with pastors who have a similar mindset to meet and pray with county leaders. As appropriate, ask your intercessors if they are interested in making connections with local leaders. Don't try to do it all yourself!
5. Karen shared a Governor's call and email update for faith leaders that provides mostly information about COVID and related issues. Contact Xander Martin to get on the list xander.martin@state.co.us

6. Cover The County cards. Amy will prepare a promotional card that you can use to tell people about your County Prayer Group and encourage them to join you.
7. Be encouraged and do not give up!!
Gal 6:9 "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
James 1:12 "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
God bless you all!!! Call Amy if you have questions or concerns.
