Pray for Mary Powell!!!
Please pray for Mary. She just let me know that she has been in hospital since last Saturday due to a series of small strokes. Please agree with me for her quick and complete recovery with no more blockages anywhere in her circulatory system.
From Mary...."Just wanted to let you know I just got out of the hospital after a very minor stroke. Went in last Saturday with headaches and some vision and cognitive slower processing issues. Turns out I had small strokes. No classic symptoms. Main thing is a bit of speech impairment which hopefully will straighten out.
I had some scary heart drops the night of surgery too--very scary. BUT the Lord took me through! I had a carotid endartectomy - cleaning of blockage from my right carotid artery.
I am home now as of early afternoon today (Saturday), and doing well - I am on a cardiac monitor for 30 days just to be sure the heart rate is settled down now.
