Yesterday I found a sore that was seeping on my ankle and I went to surgeons today. So the surgeon said that it could have been an abrasion on the outside that opened or sometimes the absorbable suture that was deeper under my skin formed a pocket that became infected. He said it’s good I’m 4 months out and it’s clear liquid and my ankle bone is basically healed together. He took a swab of the bacteria and prescribed an antibiotic. And he said we will keep a close eye on it. They took X-rays and the hardware didn’t loosen causing it so that is good. I’m to see him in a week and see how it is either I don’t have surgery then and ? I don’t know if I need more antibiotics or else I have surgery to remove the hardware because antibiotics don’t work on it and if it’s on it it could be a problem. He said more. But just claiming all infection goes in Jesus name. Would appreciate it 💕🌸😊
