Prayer request for Mary Powell
Mary Powell - THIS IS THE WEEK! Related to my deposition in the ACLU book case against the Elizabeth School District, I will so appreciate you all praying me through the following days: Monday, 2/2 - DEPOSITION PREPARATION TIME with attorneys 9:30 to 1:30 ; WEDNESDAY 2/4 prep time with attorneys 9:30 to 2:30; AND ACTUAL DEPOSITION Thursday, 2/5 9:30 - 6:30 testifying to questions from opposing counsel.
Please pray that I am guided by Holy Spirit throughout the whole process; for my peace and calmness throughout all responses; for clarity of mind; for truthful responses that show that as a district we made the decisions based on our desire to protect the minds and hearts of our students; and that I have the physical and mental stamina needed throughout.
Others will also have their depositions throughout the rest of February and into mid March - so please continue to keep ALL of us in your prayers.
