Testimony. God has physically pushed my husband and I to our limits over the past 45 days....with very little contention between us (that is the first miracle!). In less than 45 days, we have moved from our Parker home to our old home in Franktown and have the Parker house under contract to close on March 19 with a full price, cash buyer. The tenant at our Franktown home had unexpectedly decided to not renew her lease (which covered more than the mortgage payment for that home). I desperately wanted to keep the Parker house because it is a much smaller home that is just the right in size for the two of us and because we had just finished remodeling every room in the house. I was OK with the move as temporary but really wanted to come back the Parker house after we sold the Franktown house in 3 years (to minimize capital gains tax). God sent a friend back into my life to reason with me and point out what God was doing to help us be debt free. And, that conversation reminded me of a fleece we had put to the Lord last Fall when we made a donation to Andrew Womack Ministries...asking for a creative way to be debt free. Once I submitted to God's will, my selfish desire to return to the Parker house went away and we are now happily unpacking at our much bigger (too big for us) home in Franktown awaiting the closing where can, mostly, pay off two mortgages. I now await an understanding of what we will do with all the extra space at this house. It all transpired through our agreement with, and submission to, God's will combined with my willingness to die to my selfish desires.
