Lord, we ask You to direct our prayers today,
Isaiah 40:31 NKJV But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.”
Election
On August 27, 2026, the Morgan County Home Rule Charter Commission approved the proposed home rule charter for Morgan County. Then on September 1, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners passed Resolution 2026 BCC 38 approving the ballot question and referring the question on the charter to the voters at the November 3, 2026, election. Lord, we ask for the people of Morgan County and Colorado to seek Your wisdom and discernment for how to vote in this upcoming election. Lord, remind them to vote for common sense candidates who listen to Your voice. Lord, remind people to investigate the many ballot initiatives. Proposition NN was put on the ballot by the Colorado Legislature.
Divine Appointments
Kathy had a testimony of a divine appointment in her neighborhood. The man accepted Kathy’s words and tracts about Jesus. The Lord provided a connection as the man’s son goes to Kathy’s church. Kathy invited the man to her church. We prayed for this man and his family.
Praise the Lord for orchestrated divine appointments! Lord, bring more of these to all of us. Humble us, Lord. Bring Your Holy Spirit anointing to these times. May we open our mouths so You can fill them! Lord, bring connections to encourage those we talk to. May the churches overflow with those people seeking You and Your Church through Jesus Christ our Savior!!!
Healing
Many in our group and the world need healing. We know the WORD of God is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword…. Hebrews 4:12. We prayed and sent Biblical verses to all of us and all throughout Morgan County and Colorado.
I John 5:14 & 15 “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
Jeremiah 17a “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the LORD,…..”
Isaiah 58:8 “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.”
Malachi 4:2&3 “But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the LORD of hosts.”
Lord, You have called us to be salt and light. May we feel a deeper need to be a witness for You. Lord, may we not waste our days but be alert. May we look at Your creation and feel Your joy each day in what You have created. We are thankful for You, Lord! Amen.
