Isaiah 25:4 You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall and like the heat of the desert.

Faye reported the Colorado Life Initiative received permission for petitions to repeal 79. We prayed for enough volunteers to get the petitions to churches and the public to get enough signatures for the initiative to get on the ballot this fall.  They still have to bring their case before the Colorado Supreme Court.  The website for Colorado Life Initiative is www.gotaheart.org.

Schools: We prayed the Lord would keep our Christian students strong, and to be leaders in their schools.  That they would come against evil with true perspective.  We also prayed the Christian teachers would remain steadfast in their faith, and administrators would not cave to evil agendas.

Agriculture: Oh Lord, please send moisture to the eastern plains!

First Responders: Give our police, fire fighters, EMTs, and hospital workers your wisdom and insight to do their jobs as unto You.

Community: Give our city and county leaders your mind to do your will in Morgan County.  Be with our state representatives in Denver and Washington.  Keep the good, and release those who are only looking out for themselves.  Speak to their hearts!

Churches: Encourage your church to seek out the myriad ministry opportunities in Morgan County, be it a community ministry or within the local church.  Give your church a heart to seek the lost and follow your lead for outreach.
