12-2-24 Morgan County COPrays prayer call
On the call: DJ Barrett, Donna Reyman, and Kathy Zwetzig
Lamentations 3:21-23 NIV “This I recall to my mind; therefore, I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. There are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
We praise and worship our Lord for the victory of the Cross! Our hope is in the Lord! We celebrate this season as the tender beginning of our Savior’s life. He was born in a humble stable. Lord, help us to be humble.
Prayer for our government leaders
Ø We declare that the Word of the Lord is true, and the people of Colorado celebrate when the righteous rule across our state.
Ø We repent, Lord God, on behalf of the state of Colorado for passing laws and amendments to our state constitution that are in direct opposition to Your truth and Your Will.
Ø Lord, we ask You would be with all our leaders-the ones recently elected and those in office at this time. May they listen to You. If they do not know our Savior, Jesus, bring them to His saving grace.
Ø We pray for the Lord’s protection over all our leaders.
Ø We pray for the Supreme Court of the United States as they will hear oral arguments this week: States v. Skrmetti asking whether states can protect children from risky and life altering gender transition drugs and surgeries. Tennessee has boldly banned gender change care on minors.
Prayer for the First Responders
Ø We ask Lord, that Colorado First Responders be able to have time to enjoy Christmas with their family and friends. Bless their relationships with all their family members and bless their time together celebrating the Birth of Your Son.
Ø Some in Ft. Morgan hear the Flight for Life helicopters coming and going. There seems to be more than usual. Lord, bless the staff assisting in this important task. Bless them, Lord.
Ø Father, we ask You to protect all the First Responders in every field. Protect their bodies, their vehicles, and their dogs if involved. Lord, give the First Responders Your Supernatural insight to see what is before them and around them we ask in Jesus’ Name!
Prayer for churches
Ø Lord, we ask for Your powerful hand of health and healing be over the people of God.
Ø We ask for Your strength and the guidance for all pastors and church leaders during this busy Christmas season.
Ø We ask You would draw families and children to the churches this Christmas season.
Ø Lord, be with all new believers keeping them under the shadow of Your wings.
Ø We ask, Lord, You would open the eyes and ears of the people to Your Son, Jesus, during this season and beyond.
Ø We thank You for Your Word and ask its message to go forth in every church.
Prayers for Israel
Ø Lord, we ask You would bring forth a release of the hostages.
Ø Thank You for Your protection and covering over Israel.
Ø Lord, bring unity to the government and people of Israel.
“Hebrews 6: 19 &20 Amp. “This hope [ this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it ] ---a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], where Jesus has entered [in advance] as a forerunner for us, having become a High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Amen.
