Our praise to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! Come into our call, Holy Spirit, and show us how You would have us pray.
Now we have another new year! Revelation 21:5 NKJV “Then, He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful.” We trust You, Jesus! We remember how Peter was safe walking on the water as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus. May we keep our eyes on You!
Government
Colorado General Assembly begins committee meetings today with the regular session opening on January 14th. Be with the representatives Senator Byron Pelton Senate District 1 and House District 63 Representative Dusty Johnson. Lord, may they both receive Your wisdom and discernment to do their jobs for Morgan County and Northeastern Colorado. We ask for conservative alignments for them to work through difficult issues this session.
Thank you to Representative Dusty Johnson for sponsoring and leading the fight for the passage and signing of HB-25-1195. The bill, effective January 1, 2026, allows current or former first responders or their spouses to complete a form (free of charge) with their county clerk to become a confidential voter in Colorado.
As reported by the Rocky Mountain Voice, Colorado has received approval for $200,000,000 for rural healthcare. The approval followed a month’s-long process of stakeholder meetings that began in early fall. Colorado submitted its Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) application to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on Nov. 5, ahead of the federal deadline. The awards were announced by CMS on Dec. 29, part of a $50 billion push into rural health care nationwide.
We prayed for all our leaders from the cities, county, state, and our country. Lord, may they hear Your voice.
Families and Children
Babies and children in need of miracles. Brad Tuttle, who is on the COPrays board has been sending out emails requesting prayer for babies. One of the babies is Brad’s granddaughter, Matilda, who has a large tumor on her heart and lungs. The list of babies needing a miracle is getting longer. Lord, You are a miracle working God! We ask for miracle healings for these babies and all children!
According to the Kevin Lundberg Report, ProtectKidsColorado states the signed petitions are at 70%. All petitions must be turned in by the end of January. Lord, help these three petitions to be on the final ballot so Coloradoans will have an opportunity to vote.
Lord, children are vulnerable and many have been brutally hurt. Open a door of escape for those children who need one, Lord. We ask that the children who have been lost and separated from their families will be returned. Lord. We ask You to bring restoration to families.
Lord, bring women and children who have been trafficked into safe places.
Churches
Put a hook in the hearts of Your people to read Your Word this year. Stir our hearts to desire Your Word. Help Your Church to be available to teach and read the Bible.
Many grown children have walked away from the Lord. We ask for Your great revival and renewal in the world. We thank You, Lord. We believe the prodigals are coming back!
Lord, bring people to church. We ask Your gospel be preached in every church. Bring a revival to Morgan County, Colorado, and our nation. We watch with anticipation and faith! Bring new fire, Lord!
Education and Schools
Lord, be with the students going back from Christmas break to be excited and focus on their studies. Help the teachers to be patient and find ways to direct the kids to focus and enjoy learning.
Remind parents to guide the internet use of their kids. May the parents be good examples to their kids.
Harvest University, located in Ft. Morgan, is training missionaries to preach the Gospel. Lord, open doors for the graduates to go out as ambassadors and missionaries all over the world. Create opportunities in days of peril to be salt and light. Thank you, Lord!
Elections
Lord, we ask for Colorado to be aligned with You. May our people love the Bible, and the Constitution. Lord, expose evil in all elections so the American voter will be wise and accept the truth. We ask You to bring election integrity to our nation!
We declare Colorado belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ!
Our Nation and the World
We thank You, Lord, for the leadership You have given us in America. Lord, move on our leadership giving them Your wisdom and discernment. Redeem their time for rest. Praise You, for our freedom!
We bind strongholds against North America and the Western Hemisphere in Jesus Name! We ask You to unravel the money sources and the evil delivery of the money. We know evil never rests.
We ask You to overthrow the Islamic grip on Iran. Lord, protect the Christians in Iran.
We pray for peace of Jerusalem. We ask for a breakthrough in Gaza to remove Hamas.
We hear of wars and rumors of wars. Father, give strength to those fighting for freedom to worship in peace. Father, only You can redeem us. We thank You for fresh mercies every morning. You have given us a beautiful world. It is exciting to be part of Your Kingdom.
We prayed for the needs of our families and ourselves.
Isaiah 10:27 NKJV “It shall come to pass on that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” Yes, Lord, break the yokes of bondage. Amen.
