Invitation to attend “Governing Praise at the Colorado Capitol” for Morgan County day: Tuesday, April 8th from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Go to COPrays.org and choose the “Events” dropdown and choose “Pray at the Capitol” for more details. Governing Praise at the Capitol has been going on since 2022. Each county in Colorado has a designated day but anyone can attend any day.
Psalm 68: 1-4 Amp. “Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered; let those who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked and guilty perish before [the presence of] God. But let the righteous be glad, let them be in good spirits before God, yes, let them rejoice with delight. Sing to God, sing praises to His name; lift up a song for Him who rides through the desert---His name is the Lord---be in good spirits before Him. “
Praise the Lord for He is good! Lord, as intercessors we stand through the storm praising Your Mighty Name! Lamentations 3:22 & 23 ESV “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
Government Leaders
Ø We declare that the fear of the Lord now overtakes the government leaders as Colorado now comes into alignment with God’s will.
Ø Prayers for God’s wisdom for our state representatives: Byron Pelton- Senate District 1 and Dusty Johnson- House District 63. Lord, bring them Your wisdom as they negotiate all the multiples of bills brought forward at the Colorado Capitol this session. Help them bring good new laws forth.
Ø Lord, we ask for Your protection for all the local government leaders in Morgan County. We also ask for Your protection for our state and federal government leaders.
Ø Lord, we ask the laws proposed in our state will represent Your righteousness. May current leaders not following You change their minds. Call them to Your truth—in Jesus’ Name!
Ø We declare the “C” in the Colorado flag stands for Christ.
Ø We pray against any drug or psychedelic facilities to be in Morgan County.
Ø Father, we ask You to hold back the enemy’s attacks. Surround our nation with Your ministering spirits, the angels. Hebrews. 1:14
Law Enforcement
Ø Lord, be with the law enforcement community in Morgan County. Keep them safe. We ask that they follow laws to keep the people in the county safe.
Ø Lord God, please prompt each First Responder in our state to start and end every shift with thankfulness to You for your wisdom, direction, power, and protection.
Ø Lord, be with the judges in Morgan County. May people remember their service when the election comes around.
Churches
Ø We pray that the Lord now establish these Galatians 5:1 realms of liberty within disciples of God’s Word with boldness and Holy Spirit power causing them each to impart the same freedom to others through daily living, evangelism, and discipleship.
Ø The Sanctuary is having VBS during Spring Break, March 10-13. Lord, send the children to attend any VBS that is occurring in Morgan County during this time.
Ø Bless the churches with resources and more people willing to help serve.
