12-05-22 Morgan County Prayer Call

D.J. and Donna on the call today.

Praise to our Lord: Psalm 95:1-11 KJV O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice,8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:11 Unto whom I swear in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

But-God! Ephesians 2:13-15 AMP. “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups [Jews and Gentiles] into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us], by abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the hostility caused by the Law with its commandments contained in ordinances [which He satisfied; so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thereby establishing peace. And [that He] might reconcile them both [Jew and Gentile, united] into one body to God through the cross, thereby putting to death the hostility.”

Who are you worshipping a god or a man? God wants us to worship the Him! Oh, Lord, bring Your people to their knees during this season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus in a manger! II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray….” Lord, we want to enter Your rest! Lord, we want our families, friends, and others to enter Your rest.

This is a season of thankfulness. Let the thankful prayers of Your people go up! Let us look around and see Your beautiful creation that You have given us. Let us look out and see the way the sun comes sparkling through the trees; or, how the sun delights us as it reflects a thousand diamonds on the snow. Mary, the mother of Jesus, must have reflected in thankfulness as she treasured Your precious gifts in her heart.

Lord, let us seek joyfulness around us and to be content where we are. This life is not a Hallmark movie. Lord, let us not miss the reason for the season. Christ, the Savior of the world was born. Let us not get into a frenzy this time of the year. Jesus, You came to bring Peace on earth. Lord, we ask Your people will reach out to others during this season with Your Love and Your Peace.

We ask, Lord, the leaders in Morgan County will find peace and rest during this season. 2023 will bring new challenges. The words of Jesus NKJV “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Lord, we thank You for the HGTV for project and improvements to Ft. Morgan as it has finished filming and is putting the final changes on production of the show. We pray that it will bring tourism into Morgan County. Thank you for the gift to Ft. Morgan and Morgan County.

Lord, thank You for the industry providing jobs in Morgan County. Thank You, Lord, for the bountiful harvest. We thank You the silages are filling up and the farmers are storing the grain and crops to feed their herds for the winter. Philippians 4:19 “And my God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

D.J. is teaching an aerobics class and blessing her students with a Bible verse for the day. Hebrews. 12:12 & 13 NKJV “Therefore, strength the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” Lord, let us encourage others. Let them know we are Christians! Let us share that they may be secure and safe in Your arms, Jesus. You can ground us with good balance not so prone to fall. Lord, help us all to be mindful of our movements. Let us be breathing for God. His Spirit is breath. You are the highest power, Lord! When people are exercising, they are breathing Your breath and they are grounded. Psalm 94:18 Amp. “If I say, “My foot has slipped,” Your compassion and lovingkindness O Lord, will hold me up.”

Lord, bring forth faith in Christ during this Christmas season! Holy Spirit, hover over the people; open their eyes and ears to the gospel that they may believe. Some are celebrating Advent leading up to Christmas. Lord, we anticipate celebrating Your arrival on earth bringing forth the qualities of faith, hope, love, and joy. Let us anchor our faith in You, Lord! Hebrews 11:1 NKJV “NOW FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We thank You for Your promises. We have the hope for what You have promised, even if it is not in our lifetime. You are steadfast, faithful, and true. Faith and hope bringing to us Your love. Let us be Your hands, Your faith. Faith to those around us-for a hope during this time. We ask for hearts more open to Your message. God’s love. For God so loved the world, not to perish but to have eternal life. That is the love we share. Then, we have Your joy bubbling within us. Your promises have been fulfilled. We put our hope and our faith in You, Lord Jesus! Amen.
