Lyn Deal and Donna Reyman on the call today
Praise for the Lord’s Psalm 92: 5-13 Amp. “How great are Your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep, a senseless man knows nothing, nor does a fool understand this, that though the wicked sprout up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever. But You, Lord, are on high forever. For behold, your enemies, O Lord, for behold, Your enemies will perish; all who do evil will be scattered. But my horn {my emblem of strength and power} You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil {for Your service}. My eye has looked on my foes; my ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. The righteous will flourish like the date palm {long-lived, upright and useful}; they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.”
Lord, we know the war room is the prayer room. We rely on You. We empty our ego and our pride before You today. We empty ourselves so we can hear You. We ask for Your love and wisdom to guide us with our prayers.
Lord, be with the elections that will take place this fall and beyond to encompass the entire election season. Lord, call those in Your Body of Christ to run for office. Touch them, Lord, to reveal Your purpose for them. Bring wisdom to Your people as to how they should contribute in time and money for Your purposes, Lord.
We discussed a time in October to introduce Colorado Prays to the Morgan community. Colorado Prays has outreach through the churches as well as county and city prayer groups. More information will be forthcoming.
We pray for all the sick and all in the nursing homes in Morgan County. Thank you for the connections of those who care for the sick and give treatment and care to those in need.
Praise You, O Lord, for the many blessings You have bestowed on Morgan County. We are grateful for a healthy economy and the jobs the industries provide. We ask the industries in our county to be kind to those working in those industries.
Lord, we thank You for Morgan County and its diversity. We ask for unity of purpose in You, Lord. Open Your gates of heaven for us to live in peace and harmony.
