We gather together to pray for the Denver Civic Prayer Team and its new leadership Jacquie Graham and Lynn Newman. We pray that You lead this team forward during both its beginnings and transition. We declare this team is able to establish a solid footing on the Rock. We proclaim this group builds upon the Cornerstone that was rejected by the world.
Father, use this team to shake the very foundations of the city and county of Denver. We proclaim this team is used to shake the offices of the governor and mayor, the state house and senate, all judges in Denver, all elected and appointed positions and the bureaucracy.
Father, give this team the strength and endurance to stand firm in what is sure to be hostile territory. We pray You give this team authority and dominion to deal with any strongholds, territorial spirits and powers and principalities operating in Denver. We pray this team is protected and will endure any and all spiritual attacks that come at them, for none shall succeed.
There are so many issues to deal with in Denver, so we pray this team is given wisdom, revelation and laser focus to prioritize which issues and needs to deal with. We proclaim their every prayer will find their marks and fulfill their intended purposes. We declare their prayers will put angels into motion to establish Your will and Kingdom in Denver.
We thank You for this team that has gathered together to pray for the state’s capitol. We pray that You bless and empower this team, and they shall not be intimidated and shall not falter. We pray they shall know the impact and effectiveness of their prayers and that their efforts are not in vain. We thank You for the victories that are coming to Denver.
