I'd like to pray for the prayer team involved with Fields of Harvest for Sports. This is a pivotal time as we have football and soccer going on. Also, basketball, wrestling and hockey are just getting started.
With youth sports, we want the athletes being protected from injuries, sexual predators, substance abuse and any other ungodly influences. In addition, for many athletes, their coaches may be the closest thing to a father figure they will have.
Despite all the potential pitfalls, we want the athletes exposed to godly mentors and influences. For sports have the ability to shape young men and women into godly people full of character and discipline.
So, I want to pray for those praying for these young athletes.
Abba Father,
We lift up those devoted to the domain of Fields of Harvest for Sports. We pray for wisdom, discernment, insight and revelation for those praying for the young athletes of Colorado. Father, reveal to them all the current and present dangers facing our children.
Father, show them that their prayers and effort are not being wasted. Let them know that their prayers are having a mighty impact on the youth of Colorado. Lord, please protect them from discouragement, fatigue and anything else standing against them.
We also ask for their protection. Father, help them to stand strong from the any assaults from the enemy. We want it made known to the enemy, that they have no dominion over the young athletes of our state. For they are covered in prayer by the authority given by Jesus' name.
We thank You Father for the the prayers of the devoted upon our young athletes. We thank You that our young athletes will be molded into great men and women of God, and powerful leaders in both ministry and the marketplace.
