AGENDA-PRAYER TARGETS
Welcome-Opening Prayer: God, faithful King! Our Lord our God, the Lord is one. We Love You Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength. The commandments that You gave today are on our hearts. We pray and impress them on our children. We will talk about them when we sit at home and when we walk along the road, when we lie down and when we get up. We love You Lord Our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind. Teach us to love our neighbour as our self. We tie them as symbols on our hands and bind them on our foreheads. We write them on the doorframes of our houses and on the gates of our hearts. Our Lord, It is enough for a disciple that we be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. Jesus, teach us to Love as You have Loved. For You have given us an example, that we should do as You have done to us. Today, Our Lord, we take Your yoke upon us and learn from You for You are gentle and lowly in heart, and we will find rest for our souls. In Your Name, Amen.
Launching Prayer Upcoming Year: Blessed be the Glory of Our Lord, We bless You God, and offer pleasant melodies to You, Our King, the living and ever-enduring God. We utter hymns and make our praises heard, for You alone performeth mighty deeds, and maketh new things. Your the Lord of battles, You soweth righteousness, causeth salvation to spring forth, creatheth remedies, and is revered in praises. You are the Lord of wonders, who in Your goodness renew the creation everyday continually. We give thanks to You that maketh great lights, for Your lovingkindness endureth forever. O cause a new light to shine upon us, and may we all be worthy soon to enjoy its brightness. Blessed art thou, O Lord, Creator with abounding Love hast thou loved us.
O Lord Our God, with great exceedingly pity hast thou pitied us. O our Father, our King, for our father’s sake, who trusted in thee, and who thou didst teach the statues of life, be also gracious unto us and teach us. O our Father, merciful Father, ever compassionate, have mercy upon us; O put it into our hearts to understand and to discern, to mark, learn and teach, to heed, to do and to fulfill in love all the words of instruction in thy Law. Enlighten our eyes in Your Word, and let our hearts cleave to thy commandments, and unite our hearts to love and fear thy name, so that we are never put to shame. Because we have trusted in thy Holy, great and revered name, we shall rejoice and be glad in thy salvation. O bring us in peace from the four corners of the earth, and make us go upright in our land; for that art is a God who worketh salvation. Thou has chosen us from all peoples and tongues, and has brought us near unto thy great name for ever.
In Your faithfulness, we might in love give thanks unto thee and proclaim thy unity. Blessed art thou, O Lord, who hast chosen thy people in love. Our Lord, Your will be done. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Lord, as the year changes we hold tightly to Your Words, and Owe nothing to anyone except to love and seek the best for one another; for he who [unselfishly] loves his neighbor has fulfilled the [essence of the] law [relating to one’s fellowman]. See what an incredible quality of love You Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are!
Prayer Requests:
Body of Christ Entering in a New Year and Season- You are the Lord Our God, true and firm. Established and enduring, right and faithful, beloved and precious, desirable and pleasant, revered and mighty, well-ordered and acceptable, good and beautiful is this thy word unto us forever and ever. It is true, the God of the universe is our King, the Rock of Jacob, the Shield of our Salvation, throughout all generations You endureth and Your name endureth. Your throne is established, and Your kingdom and Your faithfulness endure forever. Your word also lives and endures. You are faithful, and to all eternity, as for our fathers, so also for us, our children, our generations, and for all the generations to come.
As Your Body we faithfully obey the commands You are giving us today—to love You Lord our God and to serve You with all our heart and with all our soul, and to love our neighbour as our self— You will send rain on our land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that we may gather in our grain, new wine and olive oil. You will provide grass in the fields for our cattle, and we will eat and be satisfied.
We heed to Your warnings and be careful, not to be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them. For Your anger will burn against us, and You will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and we will soon perish from the good land You Lord is giving us. Fix these words of Yours in our hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on our hands and bind them on our foreheads. We will teach them to our children, talking about them when we sit at home and when we walk along the road, when we lie down and when we get up. We write them on the doorframes of our houses and on our gates, of our hearts. So that our days and the days of our children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give our ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.
Transition in Leadership, Our Hope is in You Lord-Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the mighty ones? Who is like unto thee, glorious in holiness revered in praises, doing marvels? With a new song the redeemed people offer praise unto thy name, and give thanks in unison, and proclaim thy sovereignty, and say the Lord shall reign for ever and ever.
Answer us when we call to You, our righteous God. Give us relief from our distress; have mercy on us and hear our prayer. How long will the people turn Your glory into shame? How long will seek love delusions and seek false gods. Know that You LORD has set apart his faithful servant for Yourself; You LORD hears when we call to You. Tremble and do not sin; when we are on our beds, search our hearts and be silent. Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in You LORD. Many, LORD, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of Your face shine on us. Fill our heart with joy when the grain and new wine abound. In peace we will lie down and sleep, for You alone, LORD, make us dwell in safety.
For Families, Youth and Children-Blessed art thou, O Lord, who answerest in time of trouble. Thou favorest man with knowledge, and teachest mortals understanding. O favour us with knowledge, understanding and discernment from thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord, gracious Giver of knowledge. Cause us to return, O Our Father, unto thy Word, draw us near, O Our King, unto thy service, and bring us back in perfect repentance. Forgive us, O Our Father, for we have sinned, pardon us, O Our King, for we have transgressed.
LORD, do not rebuke us in Your anger or discipline us in Your wrath. Have mercy on us, LORD, for we are faint; heal us, LORD, for our bones are in agony. Our soul is in deep anguish. How long, LORD, how long? Turn, LORD, and deliver us; save us because of Your unfailing love. Among the dead no one proclaims Your name. Who praises You from the grave? We are worn out from our groaning. All night long we flood our bed with weeping and drench our couch with tears. Our eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all our foes. Away from us, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard our weeping. The LORD has heard our cry for mercy; the LORD accepts our prayer. All our enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish; they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.
Thank You Lord, for hearing Our prayers. Bless this year unto us, O Lord Our God, together with every kind of the produce thereof, for our welfare, give a blessing, O satisfy us with thy goodness, and bless our year like other good years. Blessed art thou, O Lord, who blessest the years. Sound the great horn for our freedom. Restore our judges as at the first, and our counsellors as at the beginning, remove from us grief and suffering, reign thou over us, O Lord, thou alone, in lovingkindness and tender mercy, and justify us in judgement. Blessed art thou, O Lord, the King who lovest righteousness and judgement.
For those without (homeless) and Brokenhearted-O King, Helper, Saviour and Shield. Blessed art thou, O Lord, the Shield of Abraham. Thou, O Lord, art mighty for ever, thou quickeneth the dead, thou art mighty to save. Thou sustained the living with lovingkindness, supportest the falling, healest the sick, loosest the bound, and keepest thy faith to them that sleep in the dust. Who is like unto thee, Lord of mighty acts, and who resemble thee. O King, who killest and quickenest, and causest salvation to spring forth. LORD, how many are their foes! How many rise up against them! Many are saying to them, “God will not deliver them.” But You, LORD, are a shield around them, Their glory, the One who lifts their head high. I call out to You LORD, and You answers from Your holy mountain. We lie down and sleep; we wake again, because You LORD sustains us. Lord May they fear not though tens of thousands assail them on every side. Arise, LORD! Deliver them, our God! Strike all their enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From You LORD comes deliverance. May Your blessing be on Your people.
As a believer seeking You wholeheartedly stand in the Gap for others:
We will sanctify thy name in the World even as they sanctify it in the highest heavens, as it is written. Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth if full of Your Glory! Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
Healing For the Just and the UnJust, trials experienced in 2020:- Blessed art thou, O Lord, who art gracious, and dost abundantly forgive. Look upon our affliction and plead our cause, and redeem us speedily for thy name’s sake, for thou art a mighty Redeemer. Blessed art thou, O Lord, Our Redeemer. Heal us, O Lord, we shall be healed, save us and we shall be saved, for thou art our praise. You are a perfect healing to all our wounds, for thou, almighty King, art a faithful and merciful Physician. Blessed art thou, O Lord, who healest the sick of thy people. Bless this year unto us, O Lord our God. In you, LORD, we have taken refuge; let us never be put to shame; deliver us in Your righteousness. Turn Your ear to us, come quickly to our rescue; be our rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save us. Since You are our rock and our fortress, for the sake of Your name lead and guide us. Keep us free from the trap that is set for us, for You are our refuge. Into Your hands we commit our spirit; deliver us, LORD, Our faithful God.
Lord, we hate who cling to worthless idols; as for us, our trust is in You LORD. We will be glad and rejoice in Your love, for You saw our affliction and knew the anguish of our soul. You have not given us into the hands of the enemy but have set our feet in a spacious place. Be merciful to us, LORD, for we are in distress; our eyes grow weak with sorrow, our soul and body with grief. Our life is consumed by anguish and our years by groaning; our strength fails because of our affliction, and our bones grow weak. Because of all our enemies, we are the utter contempt of our neighbors and an object of dread to our closest friends— those who see us on the street flee from us. We are forgotten as though we were dead; we have become like broken pottery. For we hear many whispering, “Terror on every side!” They conspire against us and plot to take our life. But we trust in You, LORD; we say, “You are our God.” Our times are in Your hands; deliver us from the hands of our enemies, from those who pursue us. Let Your face shine on Your servant; save us in Your unfailing love. Let us not be put to shame, LORD, for we have cried out to You; but let the wicked be put to shame and be silent in the realm of the dead.
Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. How abundant are the good things that You have stored up for those who fear You, that You bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in You. In the shelter of Your presence You hide them from all human intrigues; You keep them safe in Your dwelling from accusing tongues. Praise be to the LORD, for You showed us the wonders of Your love when we was in a city under siege. In our alarm You said, “You are cut off from our sight!” Yet You heard our cry for mercy when we called to You for help. Love You LORD, all his faithful people! The LORD preserves those who are true to Him, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD! Praise His Holy Name!

Hymn: To Worship You I Live
Away, away from the noise----Alone with You
Away, away to hear your voice----And meet with You
Nothing else matters, my one desire is
To worship You, I live
To worship You, I live, I live
To worship You
