On the call today: DJ Barrett, Lyn Deal and Donna Reyman

Isaiah 10:27 NKJV “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. “

We thank You, Holy Spirit, for joining with us this morning in prayer, You are the anointing oil. Praise You, Lord of all, for Your faithfulness.

Thank You, Lord, for answered prayer. There were no terrorist attacks in the U.S. on the 4th of July. We ask You would continue to protect President Trump, all leadership, and their families. In addition, give President Trump and his team wisdom to bring peace to the war in the Middle East and to the war in Ukraine.

We know You control weather patterns. We know You are with us in the physical storm and in our storms within ourselves. There has been severe weather in Morgan County. We ask, Lord, that You will continue to protect those in their homes and the crops. Your Peace and understanding to expedite repairs and send Your sunshine for the crops to recover. We ask the ground to give forth the abundance. We extend our hands over the land that You, Lord, will help it come back. May You protect all the animals.

Devastating floods in Texas surprised and swept away people including children. Be with their families. We ask they will find strength in You. Bring in the resources to help. Peace from God for those whose loved ones have given their life for You.

Summertime brings vacation Bible schools (VBS). Lord, bless all organizations in Morgan County who have prepared events for the children. Embolden the children to invite their friends! Free day care for the parents. May the churches overflow! May the children not to be hindered. Open the children’s hearts. Protect them as they grow. In Your Mighty Name bring in volunteers, supplies, and an overflowing of love and support.

Prayers for all elected and unelected people serving in the government in Morgan County, Lord, give them wisdom and discernment to serve the people. The website states Morgan County is looking for people to fill positions on the Planning Commission and the Board of Adjustment. Lord, bring more people who know You into positions of service to others.

Lord, we need Your help with the immigration policy in Morgan County, Colorado, and our nation. President Trump and our leaders need wisdom and discernment from God. May the bad apples be removed. May the power hungry be removed. We ask God will be king over the first responders, ICE, the courts, and all involved. Lord, may Your wisdom prevail. Lord, direct Congress to bring forth a comprehensive immigration plan for our nation. We are grateful the border is closed and under control of our government now.

We encourage every follower of Jesus in any first responder job to trust God to supply all their needs through Christ Jesus their Lord. Protect our first responders in Morgan County, Lord. Thank You for good leadership with Sheriff David Martin and Police Chief Loren Sharp.

Lyn shared her experience with immigrants from Haiti. Pastor Dave, from Haiti, has been given permission to meet with his family and other believers in the Methodist church chapel. His daughter is an interpreter for the group. Pastor Dave had a job at Cargill but has been released. Some helped the family get into a house. Lyn went to the chapel for a service. Their beautiful music is acapella. They love the Lord. Lyn prayed asking the Lord to take care of them.

The Sanctuary is sending five people on a mission trip to the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Walter and DJ Barrett will be going. Lord, give all going strength and favor as they minister.

We continue to pray for Fran’s family. Fran Harwerth passed into his heavenly home on July 1, 2025. He was ready to be with Jesus and his beloved wife, Joan. The funeral will be on Friday, July 18th at 10:00 AM in the air-conditioned chapel at Rowanoak Mortuary, 231 South Sherman Street, Fort Morgan, Colorado. After the graveside service there will be a lunch at the Berean Bible Church, 211 West Beaver Avenue. Condolences are appreciated and can be given by mail (710 Lincoln Street, Fort Morgan, CO 80701), phone (970) 380-6867, or email brentharwerth@gmail.com.

Pat Shriver, who is part of our Morgan County prayer team, has back and shoulders issues with much pain. Even so, she always has a smile on her face. Sometimes we must work through the pain. We ask for Your peace through the pain. You said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  2 Cor. 12:9

We ask for God’s strength to endure for our friends going through whatever hardship they are experiencing. Thank You and praise You, Lord, for Your grace.

Kathy Zwetzig, normally with us in prayer, has had pain in her shoulder and therapy is not working. She loves You, Lord. She is a sweet woman of God. Encourage her and strengthen her shoulder. Lord, give Kathy’s doctor wisdom.

Kathy shared the words she saw on a church sign with us. It follows.

“Too much sugar preaching leads to tooth decay.”   Lord, we ask for Your Truth!!! Amen.
