“Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies].”
· Praise You, Lord, for this time to pray together for Morgan County Colorado. Be with us, Lord, as we pray for the people and needs in Morgan County.
· Give Your Church grace, Holy Spirit, to live together in true unity, given by Your Presence in our midst and held in the relational chalice we must keep safe in your peace. Ps 133; Eph 4:3ff
· Lord, we pray for Pam Hernandez and Rising Up along with Ernie and Jessica as they are on the front lines helping with the homeless in Morgan County. Thank You, Father, for the churches who are supplying needs to help with this endeavor.
· Thank You, Lord, for the first responders who are helping with the homeless. Lord, give wisdom and discernment to the police and first responders in Morgan County. Help First Responders to be especially vigilant in identifying people who may need assistance due to the cold weather and other elements so that they may render aid where needed.
· Lord God Almighty, we thank You that You said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” We proclaim this as Your heart and with faith believe You have opened doors for the children of Colorado to come to You.
· We ask, Lord, You would strengthen the teachers and administrators in our school system. We ask You, Father, to uncover and expose the enemy’s plans. We bind up Satan’s’ evil political agenda in our schools---in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
· We declare Jesus Christ is King over the education system in Morgan County and Colorado
· In the Name of Jesus Christ, we declare “Nothing Without Providence….that the plan, purposes and promises of the Lord God Almighty for the State of Colorado are now prevailing.
· Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment for our government leaders in Morgan County. Give them Your strength to make the decisions that need to be made for the good of the people in Morgan County.
· Thank You for the many churches in Morgan County that teach Your Word.
· Lord, we ask people will be “compelled” to attend church. Draw them to You, Holy Spirit. Bring in the lost, the discouraged and lonely. Let them find a place in a church to receive Your love so we can all praise God together.
· Special prayers and praise: Praise the Lord for the healing of Michael Shriver’s back; prayers for the Richard Fairchild family, prayers of peace and comfort for Kathy Zwetzig, prayers for DJ and Walter as they travel to Texas to attend DJ’s brother’s funeral. Lord, give DJ Your words of comfort for her family. Prayers for Lyn Deal as she transitions into a new assignment of Yours.
· We ask You to bless the Colorado Life Initiative, Lord. For the children………..
· God, You are not diminishing but Your light is becoming brighter. Guide those who do not know You to Your everlasting Light. John 8:12 “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Amen.
