I was invited to join the Adams County Civic Prayer Team in 2023 by Kyla Stopperan as she was launching the team. At first I was hesitant to get involved. I was aware of what was going on in the nation but not so much in my local area. After praying I felt Holy Spirit prompting me to get more involved in what was going on in my own backyard.
I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone! As a result, I’m much more aware of what is happening locally and am able to pray targeted, powerful and anointed prayers with fellow prayer warriors.
To be truthful, when I first joined the Civic Prayer Team my prayer life was lacking depth. Being around more seasoned prayer warriors has changed that in a big way. After two years of being part of the prayer team I love praying and have seen the Lord answer many prayers in His amazing way.
Not only that, but I have gained a tribe of prayer warrior friends to lock shields with and pray prayers that absolutely move the hand of God. Getting engaged in a prayer team I has encouraged me in my faith and exponentially grown my prayer life. Jump in and see what the Lord will do in your life and the lives of others.
